Akiba Maid war arrived today. Was pleasantly surprised to see audio-descriptive dubtitles on disk. The three art cards are just the same character images as on the slipcase though, and art book is also just character designs. Not bad overall though and the disk labels do have the correct episode...

The Netflix ratings are all done through an automated algorithm (source), so presumably some sort of survey is done / maybe the script is fed in and it spits out those ratings? Does make you wonder though as it's sort of unfair on the home video folks who have to pay and jump through all sort...

Question for you lot: Is it always the case that it's not possible to use both the BOGOF and Bundle deals in one order? I don't seem to be able to have it apply both deals in my cart at checkout :-(. Edit: to clarify, I mean when buying four products in one order; two separate deals.

Yeah, fair. I have more confidence in the quality of ALTD's materials these days anyways. Kind of sucks for those who got the US LE, but I'd rather this than ending up with a quadruple-priced multi-language disc with a slipcover made of sawdust.

Really weird timeline of events with this release. Crunchyroll must've just somehow forgotten they didn't have the rights for this or something. Hard to blame ALTD for the situation tbh, nice that we're getting it.
