There were pirate tapes long before DVDs and the internet was in mainstream use and it is only one of their distribution networks, I was offered pirate DVDs while sat in a McDonalds a few months ago...
Seconded. I'm often too impatient for UK releases because I know that if I wait that extra 3 months from the US release, there's a good chance I'll be on to the next big thing.
Can't say I have seen any of the others so I can't comment on those but I have to agree with Tank SWAT. It took a previously great show and made it into the ugliest mess I have eve forced myself to sit through. Everything was horrible from the looks of characters and backgrounds to the little...
Full colour Dragon Ball or Slam Dunk, yes please, I'd happily re-buy both of those at a premium if they were coloured in nicely. I don't ever see it happening though and if it did it would probably be a US production to milk DB or Kenshin further. The Japanese seem happy with their art books...
That looks awesome.
Lupin movie packs are the way forwards, I had 4 of the films in the First Haul box but it was still cheaper to get the box than the remaining dvd. Until they release The First Contact on DVD I doubt I'll buy another single Lupin film again. It burns too badly.
Wow that's tough, Up until the end of the Soul Society ark I would have said Bleach but I struggle to watch it at the moment, most annoying sidekick characters EVER! Seriously the show did not need them at all. Once they are gone that will probably climb back higher in my rankings.
Naruto...
Goku's relatively indestructible by normal standards, I mean beams that blow up mountains don't even scruff up his clothes later in the series! You can compare him with Gundams and he still has more power easily...
That said she might stand a chance against Dragonball Goku as she could...
There was one episode made of Dominion Tank S.W.A.T. and if you were lucky enough to not watch it, then consider yourself lucky. Don't get me wrong, I love the Tank Police but that was a show that casts a blight on the franchise. There are a million ways to describe it but you can sum it up...
Awww, the first time I saw the post all my optimistic eyes saw was Genshiken 2, response a loud wohooo only afterwards did I see the cancelled, much louder noooooooooooooooooooooo.
More Appleseed is always a good thing, I'm still hoping the game of the last one comes out over here.
Fort Max is that after the Transformer of the same name? nice choice if it is, awesome toy.
Anyway for the London Anime Club just turn up on the day and pay the £2.50 entry fee. The main reasons for showing up would be meeting more anime fans in person and the dealers selling region 1 dvds...
