That's all good, different strokes for different folks after all. I definitely excitedly celebrate any event which could potentially result in time off work 😅
Now that family have all gone to bed I'm about to resume my Christmas Toradora rewatch with a strong cup of tea and some leftover chocolate chip panettone from Morrisons (they're really good!).
I've only received some AL pre-orders this month (perfect blue and devilman crybaby, but not dangers in my heart) with my outstanding Christmas sale orders being 8 items on 5/12 and 4 on 11/12 with there being a difference of 1776 between the order numbers.
Edit: didn't order from AoL this...
Yeah I remember everything relating to him just sort of dropping off near the end. An incomplete manga at the time explains why. Thanks for the heads up on this, will try and combine the rewatch with the manga as suggested.
I love that anime too and was very glad to eventually get it, during a previous AL Christmas sale no less😅, though I didn't know about the manga differing at the end. Now I'll need to read that for sure.
Also second the great score and op/ed (especially the ed) for that.

My favourite contemporary Japanese director doing a live adaptation of a recent favourite anime from a favourite one shot manga? Happy days.
Given my backlog of unopened sets from many Christmases past, I'm probably in the minority here of not hugely minding delayed posting of sale items when packaged with the pre-orders.
I do miss being able to use the Christmas discounts for pre-orders. Especially with the individual postage...
I had been really hopeful of a renewed interest (if there ever was any to begin with) for someone (AL), actually ANYONE, to release all of sound euphonium after season 3 dropped but that is far becoming another fantasy. Arrrr tis nothing but encouragement to take to the high seas for those...
I second that, good series which I think I watched on Amazon. Long ago enough that I had to Google it to remind myself of which one exactly it was heh. I recall the opening being very cool as well.
It's good to see Takahata, whose work I've easily enjoyed the most out of the Ghibli catalogue, being recognised for his role. I always assumed, rightly or wrongly, that he wasn't that fussed about an the attention being directed towards Miyazaki though heh
I'm struggling to find something on alltheanime for 1 or 2p to get free delivery on the perfect blue set preorder🤔. Guess I should just resign myself to viewing my unlimited membership to cover delivery costs rather like the Amazon prime membership model heh.
