Oddity with The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Blu-ray in the UHD set.
There’s a scene around the 1:12:00 mark with time frozen where the characters are wandering around a crosswalk. The dialogue maxes out the surround here. On the Manga releases, there was a problem with the dialogue in the rear speakers not being subtitled.
This time there are subtitles, but on the Blu-ray, the Japanese dialogue in the rear speakers can’t be heard when the 5.1 audio is downmixed to a TV’s stereo speakers. I didn’t have the same problem with the UHD disc, which was fine through the TV speakers and a 5.1 soundbar.

I know it probably counts as a single license unlike the franchise I want, but when I see talk about Bleach getting all setup to get it on a steady schedule I do wonder why any given Gundam release takes 2-3 years. It'd be great to think a franchise they've been handling long could have at least finished its core timeline by now.

Nice to see Her Blue Sky - I picked up the JP Limited Edition Blu-ray Box back in 2021, which included English subs, but I'll probably double dip on the Collector's set from AL, especially since it has a digipak.
