Some were quite complex, one was an order of £1500+. So I can understand this one taking time to move (it included the christmas bundles) as well as several others orders in the 300-500 pound price range. However, I am perplexed at how the smaller orders of 4-6 blurays have taken a while to move.

I have easily at least 12+ orders outstanding.

Not to pry, but what kind of cool stuff are you getting?

Given Hanners explaination of complex orders; it seems by having them deprioritised, customers with those orders end up waiting the longest despite ordering earlier. Given how long I've waited, it seems there are little to no safeguards in place which would prevent complex ones from getting kicked further and further down the street. What is very concerning is what if there are stock issues further down the street?

Yeah the exspensive order I can see logistically being a problem as the size & weight will be kinda big, but even my £200-300 orders I had them come in seprate parcels/boxes (so 1/2 & 2/2), so I would assume that will have to be the case with that order.
But yeah small orders no idea at this point.

There stock system I think is pretty good now and I think works off what is more precise actual stock. Example I've bought the last item before sold out before and still arrived. But also I don't work there so I havne't seen the system, and there is situation like Amazon hoarding stock, but I assume for the sale they have only used there actual stock (and that was an error with them sending too much stock to amazon). But Hanners was updating stock during the sale allowing for items to come back in stock and exact amounts that could be purchased before sold out.

That's reassuring and thanks for the information. I also discussed with Andy I believe around the 6th that the large order was being picked/processed so I guess it may be waiting on a few items to complete and then get sent. I can also understand they don't want to set a deadline like the 6th of Feb again because people will riot if the deadline is missed again. Given some movement here and there (I believe a total of 4 orders of the many fulfilled) I'm hoping that these will be sent before the next sale. As my concern is when the next wave of huge orders come in there might be further delays. Additionally, I wonder if an order reaches a certain point where it flags on the system as needing to be fulfilled despite being complex. I've sent correspondence and haven't heard back so I'm presuming they're all hands on deck at this point.

Can confirm, got one order in like five big boxes.

When you get them, could you show off the board games?
yeah of course man!

additionally, they just contacted me - and they said they've put larger orders aside and are tending to them but not in a way which could throw a crank in the works for the rest of the stuff which is behind.

which is totally fine, a weekly update gives me peace of mind. I can understand not wanting to give blanket deadlines as sometimes there is a sub-section of people who no matter what you do they're going to throw their toys out the cot regardless.

Kinda crazy. You generally want to encourage people to spend more not punish them for doing so.

Perhaps, though the explanation they personally gave me is satisfactory. As long as my products are delivered I am content. What I do think needs to be improved on is frequent comms on those waiting for orders, even automated/generalized updates. That way, transparency will allow buyers to make informed decisions as to whether or not they are happy to wait or cancel. In my case, I'm happy to wait. Though I will keep yall updated on my prog.

You know, AL could alleviate all of this shipping animosity towards them if they would just re-name their December sale to the "12 Days After Valentine's Day" sale, instead of the "12 Days of Christmas" sale... 🤔

I feel maybe where they are going wrong is in neglecting to decorate the boxes they ship the products in - just think how much anguish could have been spared if they had done something similar to the below images! :P

Also, my final Xmas sale order was shipped yesterday, yay! :)
