UK Anime Christmas Sales for 2025 [Anime Ltd's 12 Days of Xmas + More]

Totally. It's a shame that you cannot combine orders after the fact to save on shipping fees. But is what it is at the end of the day. Im still happy with how things played out. Biggest learning is that next time ill limit orders placed. Try to keep to a 1-2 minimum order

While I think it would be great the reality is if they did implement such a feature what would likely happen is people would order everything and tick 'hold off on shipping until end of sale' then cancel causing problems since these sales are important for stock clearing.

I think if a feature like this gets implemented, not sure how, that as they are shipping they realise the could combine shipping and refund the difference to your account as store credit.

Some places I know of locally let you do combined shipping. But also have to be mindful of shipping costs etc - likely you'd face an increase in shipping fee depending on how large of an order you placed so actuality is... my suggestion isn't going to save a lot of money if they did. Just a dream 😅

It's a shame free or reduced shipping isn't part of the sale. That would partially solve the issue.

True, but the places who do combined shipping probably aren't in as unique a position. How I imagine it'd work for some people to exploit it

Day 1: Order EVERYTHING you are remotely interested in and click 'delay shipping to December 12th'
Day 2-12: Add everything from flash sales/restocks to order
Day 12: Remove the stuff, you aren't as interested in to get under budget

The problem is the result of that is AtA has a bunch of restocks of clearance items

Free/reduced shipping is great but the reality is it is a cost the business puts on the user in one form, either transparently as a fee or invisibly by increasing the product price. Combining shipping and giving a AtA credits would have the same effect of reducing shipping costs.

I am fortunate in that I live in the UK so I don't have to pay for international shipping and from my perspective international shipping costs are part and parcel (pun intended) of the situation. If on the other hand I had to pay American and Japanese prices I might not be as happy to lose out on AtA and MVM deals.

Idm the shipping myself even if i wasn't doing a GO I'd order only what i thought was worth which probably woulda just been my first + fnal cart: being Blood C ult, Great pretender, Cyberpunk, B the beginning S2, GITS s2. They woulda lost me on the mystery box tho they usually get em out before the sale ends alas not this year

I wonder when my day 2 order will ship tho hmmm. Honestly for me would rather they wait until January with the Christmas rush happening now, feels more prone to stuff arriving damaged plus delayed anyways since Im intl in US. Sooooo idm the delay ahaha

I myself asked them to cancel two orders due to items restocking later during the sale, particularly BOGOs, so I would reorder with the restocked missing items. They were polite and efficient in cancelling though but yeah the stock issue is a thing either way.

I guess some folks are more finicky on cancelling due to change of mind as above but I don't usually order something with the though i can cancel it later. Idk if that would particularly be a problem if they implemented consolidated shipping like that though. Imo that's a mindset a person has anyways, consolidated shipping or not. Seems AL is pretty flexible on cancellations so that could feed into it too. CR just straight up wont let me cancel in stocks lol smthg smthg about logistics automated process etc, have to go thru an RMA (for me I accidentally ordered 2 stock somehow, not that I changed my mind)

I imagine though their main audience is UK/ROI folks + EU. I think consolidated shipping would benefit those intl folks the most tbh, the UK/Ireland postage is 3.50 which isn't terrible esp for the flash deals i find it worth if they already didnt hit the FS threshold. Do they charge EU the same 25 pound flat rate too? I can see though that they might not expect many US buyers for example so for me I definitely got my moneys worth of the 25 pound shipping ahaha
