UK Anime Christmas Sales for 2025 [Anime Ltd's 12 Days of Xmas + More]

View attachment 42805

Thank you, Google: your bullet points have opened my eyes to the truth. I was going to make the mistake of ordering two parts of what should be one complete set; deceived by the price being cut in half. The sad reality is, Anime Limited are not trying and, in fact, their most recent flasher 'sale' is a thinly veiled attack on their loyal customers. Why would I pay £70, even with an extra 10-15% off on top of the 22%? I would surely have pre-ordered, were I willing pay THAT much. And what is the point of a 24hr flash sale for such minuscule amounts!?

We don't want Blue Giant as a flash sale offering: we want GIANT discounts. If the next flash sale is not satisfactory, we should let them hear our combined e-voice. I will support you at 5pm in getting our message across.
The drop is £25 per set on the normal selling prices, the £45 per set I stated earlier I clearly labelled at the Early Bird price.

Fret not, Snippy, for I was not replying to anything you said; only Google. It escaped me that the normal price is not £34.99 each, and that that was the early birdy price originally. Regardless, the bullet point arguments hold weight, and he has swayed me against purchasing Re Zero S2.

Re:zero sale isn't that great but I thought Belle 4k, Blue Giant, Great Pretender, One Piece Film: RED 4k and Violet Evergarden Movie 4k were all excellent deals.

I totally agree. There hasn't been as much to pique my interest this year as in previous years perhaps, but in my book at least there have been some outstanding offers so far. The film CE flash deals have been really good for anyone who hasn't already bought the films in question - Blue Giant in particular is a fabulous film and the collector's edition was a ridiculous steal at £14.99 - and the BOGOF offers on Gundam, etc. allow for huge savings.

And we are still only half way through the flash deals. Fingers crossed everyone finds something to bring them some Christmas joy by the end of them.

Dang it.
I feel guilty now!

Very nice deal, to be honest. I'd buy it right away, but I have volume 1 of this box, which is the best, so I'm a bit hesitant. I'd like to buy the Macross box for that much, but I probably won't be able to, at least not this year :)

ORDER UPADTE EMAIL (incase anyone misses the emai for what ever reason):

EDIT: Looks like there is a blog post too 12 Days of Christmas 2025 – Shipping Update – All the Anime

Copy and Paste of the Email
Dear customer,

As we move towards the end of our Christmas Sale promotion period, we're understandably starting to get a lot of questions about order shipping and how things currently stand, and so we wanted to take this opportunity to give all of you an update on things.

First of all though, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported and shopped with us during our Christmas sale. It's been incredible and uplifting to see your excitement for all of the deals we've been able to muster for you this year. Again, thank you so much for your support, it means the world to us.

Where we stand

There are always some new challenges and considerations for us during this busy time of year, and this year has been no exception.

Foremost amongst our considerations is the number of high-profile titles that we've released over the course of December - we've had our Perfect Blue Deluxe Edition, Arcane: League of Legends Season 2 Collector's Edition (our biggest selling web shop product of all time, incidentally), Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Devilman Crybaby and BLEACH Part 9 to name a few.

As I'm sure you'll all appreciate, shipping these products to customers has been our number one priority and focus as stock of these titles has arrived, and so over the last week or so we've shipped - and continue to ship - a large number of orders daily pertaining to these products.

While we've made a lot of progress with shipping all of these titles, you can probably imagine that this has consumed a lot of our shipping capacity thus far in December. This has also been compounded with various other logistical issues outside of our direct control - stock delays due to courier hold-ups, illness contributing to stock being shipped to us late, and other administrative issues with the receipt of stock at our fulfilment warehouse (which is a specific issue that we've already taken on board to look at changing our own processes to mitigate and improve things next year).

What this means

As things currently stand, we expect to be able to shift our focus to the shipping of Christmas sale items soon, and eventually this will become our core focus right through until our fulfilment house shuts down for the festive period from 5PM on December 23rd.

However, at this time it's difficult to make any guarantees regarding shipping ETAs for any specific order, or whether it will or will not ship over Christmas - sale orders are prioritised using a complex matrix of considerations to maximise the bandwidth of our fulfilment centre and their staff, so it isn't as simple as "order x will ship before Christmas and order y won't", which is why we don't want to commit to any specific promises that we can't guarantee can be kept. However, it is safe to say generally speaking that we unfortunately won't be able to ensure that all orders are shipped before the Christmas postage cut-off period for domestic shipments.

Ultimately, this is why we're writing this post, as we know that transparency is important to all of you who have purchased from us during this sale period, and we understand that some of you will have placed orders as Christmas gifts for others, and that it's easier to make alternative plans with more time to consider your options. We realise that the lack of specifics isn't ideal for this, but we'd rather raise the uncertain nature of which shipments will arrive so that you can make any decisions accordingly.

The one thing that we can say with certainty is that all orders will ship to customers, even if shipments slip into January - if you have an order with us, it will be placed and dispatched as soon as possible, without exception. So if you're happy to wait, you'll receive all of the amazing items you've ordered at these great sale prices.

TL;DR: In short - we can't give a guaranteed shipping date or ETA for any Christmas sale orders, and some orders are now almost certain to ship in January, but we'll continue to ship orders as quickly as we are able.

If you need to change anything

Of course, if you need to contact us to make any changes to your order - whether it's a change of address to factor in potential later shipping, or to cancel an order - you can do so as per usual via our contact form. Please remember to include your order number on any correspondence, otherwise we won't be able to assist you - it's the one reliable way for us to find orders in our system.

This is also a good time to remind people that we have an FAQ linked on all of our product pages - this should assist you with any basic questions you might have about our shop and service.

We'd also like to note at this point that we are unable to combine or split orders that have already been placed, nor can we add items to an order that has already been placed - we simply don't have the facility to offer this.

Our customer service e-mail will be responded to until our team takes a well-deserved break on December 18th, at which point we'll be back to respond to any messages over the Christmas period in the New Year when we (and our fulfilment partner) re-open on the 5th January and will endeavour to respond to any messages left over that period as soon as possible.

Finally, a note that we'll endeavour to respond to all customer service requests as soon as possible until that date, but please do remember that this is a busy time so it make take a little longer to reply to your messages, but we will ensure that every request is resolved as best we can. Also, please do remember that our customer service team are humans behind that screen, so please be civil and polite to all of us so that we can help you as best we can!

Thank you all for your understanding and custom, both now and throughout the year - as always, we couldn't do any of this without all of your support. We hope you all have a great Christmas.

-- The Anime Limited Team

The Prioritization of Pre-orders I can understand to an extent, I just wish they wouldn't pile up quite so many around the sale (although again I understand they are trying to get them out before christmas), although I haven't actually looked at when the release date were and if they were delayed to the start of Decemeber.

I suspect some of the earlier orders might get stuff before christmas as it sounds like they will be starting shipping soon (but usually day one dispatches take fore ever as there is just so many day one purchases). There is also the bigger parcels via FedEx that might arrive quicker (but might not) FedEx is usually pretty busy, but not sure if more so that Royal Mail.

I had my first actual Christmas sale order fulfilled this afternoon - so perhaps things are beginning to move on that front, somewhat.

I imagine the shipping update is a bit of covering their asses too, just in the likely event that it takes longer than expected to ship.

On the Discord, Hanners did mention that it's been another record year in terms of sheer order numbers. So I can sympathise, especially if their packing company hasn't expanded!

Just to combo on to this there was an interesting (and I think overlooked comment) from the BBFC in their recent analysis of how anime is viewed by the public from a ratings perspective.

https://www.bbfc.co.uk/press-releases/nearly-nine-in-ten-say-anime-poses-a-child-protection-risk-if-not-age-rated-appropriately
The findings come as the BBFC is classifying more anime than ever before for physical media release in the UK. In 2025 so far, anime has accounted for nearly a quarter (24%) of content classified by the BBFC for release on DVD and Blu-ray – a proportion that has more than doubled in recent years. While two-thirds of anime classified between January and November 2025 received age ratings between U and 12, one-third was rated 15 or 18.
The market for physical anime is thriving. Of course this statement doesn't speak to the likely collapse of home media sales in general (as most are happy enough with streaming and watching the latest slop without ever wanting to own a physical version to treasure) but it shows that anime home media is at least steady if not increasing.

Yes, I read that article too. It's promising news and perhaps suggests that the anime market is growing significantly in the UK.

Crunchyroll are now releasing series physically in the UK like Haikyuu!!, even though a previous release by Animatsu supposedly bombed badly back in 2016. So perhaps Crunchy are feeling confident that the market is big enough in the UK for there to be sufficient interest in the series, interest that wasn't perhaps there nearly ten years ago now.

Despite not own owning a vinyl player, I was verrrry tempted--the only flasher to lure me in thus far. Death Note is one of two anime soundtracks I love 🎸. There's nothing else like it my ears have heard, with it going from cool detective beats to despair freely - some tracks that play only once - that syncs up with the mood/atmosphere to make DN an 11/10 for the audio: esp given Light's JP voice acting on top.

Unfortunately/fortunately, although it's much cheaper than the £200-odd on eBay, I don't think I want to start hoarding vinyls when digital audio so much more convenient. That, and I'm not fond of the 🍎 schit. Would've preferred character art/DN rules.

I personally don't have any streaming services just because the bitrate is so awful on them and I much prefer paying for something I can have forever, so am very happy that anime physical media is as big as it is now.

Hopefully we keep getting more stuff!

Todays Flash sale is Magic Knight Rayearth: The Complete Series Limited Edition Blu-ray £9.99

Kinda thought this one might be in the mystery bundle (probably the clearnce, but obviously not considered clearence yet and not the case) and £10 is as good of a price as your gonna get I think.

EDIT: Assuming they arn't adding an extra day (Due to to the delayed start) there is only 1 more flash deal left on the 11th/tomorrow at 5pm.

For the most part, most of these deals have gone live at 4.55pm (ish), so you can try bundling 2 flash dealing into one if your quick about it and have it all set up in your cart ready to go, but of course there is a risk of you missing out so might still be best spliting your order if possible (i realize some will be trying for free postage and others one shipment for international or what ever).
