Also my blu-ray pot luck for any who are curious, An yes just random disc from a set, but you can get luck as films areusually one disc and someset like monogatari are 1 disc. And usually taken from returns that I belive were damaged cases or art work.

Gesus they practically added almost every previus mystery box title into one shipment.

As i suspected it is mostly
Romance and SLO titles, uff
Which did u order? i know the dvds are from the dvd bundle but you got mystery box 1, 2 and clearence as well? since it is 15 i assume its either mystery 1 or 2. with dvd and clearence bundle

yeah blu-ray 1 & 2 and DVD (No clearence as I pretty much have all there clearence stock).
And thats how they arrived. so no idea which 1 & 2, best guess left set is 1 and right is 2 set

I think 3 are new on the left one and 2 on the right so not too bad. (but yeah some are in AllTheAnime sale, which i think they did last year)

Captain Earth, Hidamari Sketch, Devil Realist, Girlish Number and Samsami San are in the Clearence Bundle
i got one duplicate but not bad for that one at least.

How do the flash sales work this year? Is it one per day every day? There were multiple flash deals per day last year IIRC. I'm waiting (hoping) for Nadia since I missed out last year. I'm only able to place one order because of the £25 shipping charge so I need to make it count.

Yeah, flash sale changes every 24hours/ day, but not sure if its running till the 11th or 12th now due to the start being delayed.

I my guess would be Nadia 4k will be in the flash sale again this year, but will have to wait and see

Thank you. I really dislike these flash deals as an international customer because I have to wait out the sale and in doing so risk items in my cart selling out. Several of the items I want are getting dangerously low and I can't just "impulse buy" them because I'm not going to pay £25 additional for every order. They eliminated the free shipping over £X threshold which was bad enough but in its place all they would have to do to solve this is offer international customers a "hold my order" option. I really don't see why this is so difficult. Several "boutique" film labels offer this. Place multiple orders during a sale and have them ship when the sale ends after consolidating your order. I don't mind waiting longer if it means I don't have to pay for (expensive) shipping multiple times. Not to mention having to pay any potential tariffs/import fees per package.

Not sure how I feel about seeing S2 titles
(Is The Order A Rabbit: Bloom / Tsurune: The Linking Shot)
in a mystery bundle.
Having said that; the only ‘rule’ specified is “no half sets” (but that’s a rarity from MVM anyway).

AtA seem to have certain rules for theirs, although we seem to be expecting more than is actually published on the listings, so I guess we’ll have to see!

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of having season 2s in a mystery box, I don't have season 1 of Tsurune so I'll have to go and get that now lol

Yeah unfortunatly the Flash sale arn't really convient for us the consumers other than they are usually very good prices. They are designed to make people keep coming back to the sight in this case each day (so more web foot traffic for them) and also to tempt us for first off the flash deal item and then maybe some stocking filler or something, probably more so for those looking to hit the free UK postage cap.

Yeah unfortunatly for this year AllTheAnime mentioned international postage cost are just too much for them to offer it.

Combining shipping I think they've said just isn't possible, for it can't be set up logistically with in there system (I assume it shopifiy) and/or there dispatch center (Or something along those lines)

And similar things can be said or applied to the Buy one get one free that it usually requires a separate order from the standard items and discount codes

I think you can ask MVM (Anime on-line) to hold your orders too combine (but not tried personally) and might be more for pre-orders, but might be worth messaging them before hand just to check.

I just noticed it’s also
Non Non Biyori Repeat
- so a third title too. One might be OK, two at a push, but three is going a little far.
That the later seasons are (obviously) slightly more recent releases implies slightly more value, and although £4 per title is pretty good, these do include older ones that have been on offer before.

However, to take your
Tsurune
example - it would usually be a way if ‘sampling’ a title to encourage purchase of subsequent seasons, and not to necessitate purchasing the earlier season to evaluate the one you were sent.
I don’t think it’s such a problem with
Rabbit or Biyori
, but
Tsurune
is something of a linear story.
