What did you BUY today?

I signed up to Vinted and got these awesome shoes and this beautiful vintage fleece, I also got an adorable spoopy ghost hoodie (print will be on both front and back) and shiny pretty pink coat from Temu :)

EDIT: Added image of front of pink coat to show that it does up (it has a zipper as well underneath the poppers), and also has pockets! :)

Yeah, I noticed the print on the anime girl shirts I ordered from Temu is not nearly as bright or vivid as they show in the photos on their site, and also since I have to order 6X size shirts, they tend to zoom in on the image so it fills such a large swath of fabric, so sometimes the tops of heads will get cut off at the collar and you lose a lot of the background. Or, they'll stretch the image horizontally so it looks like a 3:4 video when stretched to 16:9 widescreen to avoid seeing the black bars at either side. I wish I was much slimmer so I could wear a smaller size shirt... :(

FWIW that seems to be particularly an issue with those types of men's T-shirts on Temu, I have some other things from them that have absolutely phenomenal print quality, will try to post some photos of some of my fave items as they actually look IRL rather than just images from the product pages sometime! I sympathise regarding the weight thing also, I've lost some weight in the last year or so but am still decidedly plus sized and it can make clothes shopping very frustrating sometimes. I hope you find cool big sized stuff to wear :)
 
Got monies so bought these two lovely items from Vinted, excited for their arrival soonish! Here we have an I am Kenough hoodie, I did see the Barbie movie in cinemas when it was released and really enjoyed it, but never got around to getting one of these, was very late to the come on Barbie let's go party there XP I also got this awesome kawaii jellyfish dress from Run & Fly, it looks so cute and will add something new to my wardrobe as I've nothing else much like it in terms of colours and prints :)

Splashed the cash with a new silk duvet from John Lewis, to replace my current silk duvet i got over ten years ago when I was in China on holiday. Cool during the summer, warm during winter and light as a feather but it's started to get lumpy with the filling moving around. Well I need to spend my commission income on something to treat myself :)

Temu sounds very hit & miss when it comes to quality of product.

Ooh swish! I love silky/satin-y things, been looking at sukajan embroidered jackets on Koisea a lot recently :)

And yes, I find it worth it for the hits, they have some very cool stuff that's really unique in terms of cheap fashion like for instance some of the women's T-shirts have way nicer cuter (and all over) prints than a lot of more "respectable, upmarket" places, also have gotten lots of really great cheap stickers and fab lego-alike and wooden puzzle sets, and while shoe quality varies too most of my shoes are from there, the best pairs I've gotten that I've kept are amazing, but there are def misses to go along with it! :)

Atm I'm trying out wearing some colours I haven't worn much for years, like green and yellow, and this dress is so beautiful so I decided to buy one, comes with a lot of accessories as well and a blouse, the dress will def fit unsure if the blouse will as no sizing chart for that but it was not much extra to get one so I decided to take a chance esp as it costs about the same as shipping for the order would have if I hadn't surpassed the free shipping threshold by adding it haha (the other accessories are part of the basic dress package but the blouse was an extra £16 or so) :)

The suit set has a video review showing the quality is good and is generally well reviewed (you get a jacket, waistcoat and trousers), I'm keen to wear it when it arrives, the trousers will need turning up haha I'm 5 foot 6 inches tall and it's designed for a big and tall man! Looks super cool though! As for the appliques, they are for sewing onto some of my plainer clothes to jazz them up a bit, I do mostly unsurprisingly have quite fancy clothes but there are a few pieces in my wardrobe I think would benefit from something like this, for now I've just bought one pack but have my eye on various other ones that I think would go well with the pieces of clothing I have in mind. I also will get £50 of Temu credit w this purchase that I need to claim in instalments, that will likely be used for buying more embroidered appliques - mostly flowers and a few other cool ones I found, and also on a couple of other inexpensive clothing items I particularly like the look of (though will also try to have a think if there's anything more practical that I need to get or replace that I could buy on there before spending it all on sewing stuff and such!) :)

I have two! XD

The edwardian compactum has two hanging spaces and four drawers plus a couple of shelves I use for keeping ornaments and figurines on, the other one I use for bulkier winter items like coats, and the shelves are mostly used for blanket hoodies and dresses that would get damaged on a hanger cuz the sleeves are straps or other flimsy ones that can't realistically take the weight of the dress as a whole :)

EDIT: Most of these photos of my wardrobes are from when I bought them secondhand hence why there's nothing in them, and also I do do clearouts of my clothes sometimes as well for charity etc., and return items I'm unhappy with, so stuff gets subtracted as well as added! :)

Bought a bunch of lovely flower appliques plus the cats with headphones ones for jazzing up a specific piece of clothing that I've just written out one of my poems on in acrylic paint markers this evening, am rly looking forward to seeing how this goes!! Most of them have iron on as an option as well as sewing but the really big purple and gold applique is sew only no heat glue adhesive on the back, I used some Temu credit for this purchase so only paid £7.35 for all this minus the 36 flower mixed colour set which I'm just posting again to show the sizes in image 2, bought that with my fancy blue suit order a couple of days ago XD The cats with headphones are kinda me and my boyfriend I'm gonna use the pink and purple cats and either give the other two to a cat-mad friend or save them for another project :)

Combined shipping with my other LolitaInside order on this lovely pink chocolate dress so that the shipping was free for both items, got the hoodie for cheap from Vinted to sew this beautiful raven/crow patch onto and will also be adding a kangaroo pocket at the centre front as it doesn't have pockets, am gonna put one of my poems on it as well and add some other patches too most likely or perhaps draw some complimenting coloured flowers around it with acrylic paint markers, the other appliques I thought were cool/cute so bunged them in to use a discount coupon which made them pretty much free with the bigger raven/crow patch :)

It's unlicensed of course but has to be inspired by that. Comparing directly now they changed the hair bows to "X" clips and put the bows in a different place and maybe made other changes. Instead of KAngel it says <something that ends in E> Angel on it.
