Don’t mind me; I’m just gonna put on this broken record:
£55 x 10% = £5.50
£55 - £5.50 = £49.50
£49.50 < £50 so £3.50 shipping
£49.50 + £3.50 = £53
£53 / £55 = 96.4%
Total unlimited discount = 3.6%

I also don’t know if it’s something I’ll particularly enjoy (not that this usually stops me!), but it already seems a bit lacklustre with just a 20-page and 16-page booklet (and basic Amaray case), before considering that I’d be a bit annoyed about throwing in the extra shipping should it end up Netflix quality.
 
Been a tad underwhelming so far, this sale, though still another 7(?) flash deals to come. I just know they're holding back the 50 quid Macross Plus Ultimate Edition for the last day, the rascals.

Seriously though, where is the Plus movie SE? It's been six months. I mean, I really want them to backtrack on the decision not to release a CE (that France did get), so that I can have a reasonably shaped and sized set to go between DYRL and Zero, but that seems increasingly unlikely.
 
Yep only difference is today they emailed / posted about it. Maybe it wasnt meant to be live yesterday

But I thought I also read about deals every day? Might be misremembering though

The initial communication mentioned flash sales every day from the 12th April on their blog post:

However, I am guessing that because yesterday was a "new release/pre-order" day, yesterday was never meant to be a flash sale day and it's simply an error in Anime Limited's communication and in allowing the Kaiji deal to go up a day early.

So for those switched on, you'll get 48 hours to order Kaiji. Not so much of a flash in my opinion 🤭

What was/is the ‘new release / preorder’?
I don’t seem to have received any (advertising) emails from them on Tuesday - just the usual “Forget something?” for leaving an item in my basket.
I thought they had missed me off on Kaji, but got that email on Wednesday.
 
Barring this error (which is for two seasons so giving you two days seems appropriate) these flash sales have felt fairer and more lax than last time Anime Limited ran them. It feels like a real improvement has been made in just what times they start and what times they end so that you have the chance to buy things. So far I haven't bitten on any of the flash deals but I appreciate how they've been handled
