What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

@Titan say goodbye to any type of social life for the foreseeable future now that you've gone down the rabbit hole of The Legend of Heroes series 🤣

You just need to get Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure to complete what's been released so far.

Trails in the Sky is being remade and the first part should be released sometime this year.

2025 HAUL - MARCH v2

Just one package that arrived today.

Radiance - The Cat 1.jpg
Radiance - The Man from Majorca 1.jpg
Radiance - A Man On His Knees 1.jpg
Radiance - Mississippi Mermaid 1.jpg
Radiance - Nomad & My Heart is That Eternal Rose 1.jpg
Radiance - Yokohama BJ Blues 1.jpg

For the past few months I've had a fair amount of gift card funds for Amazon thanks to work and I figured it was time to finally use them all up and for that I put it towards a Radiance Films haul consisting of six releases. One from each region!

In alphabetical order we have Dominik Graf's 1988 German film The Cat (Die Katze), Bo Widerberg's 1984 Swedish film The Man from Majorca (Mannen från Mallorca), Damiano Damiani's 1979 Italian film A Man on His Knees (Un uomo in ginocchio), François Truffaut's 1969 French film Mississippi Mermaid (La Sirène du Mississipi), Patrick Tam's 1982-89 Cantonese films Nomad (烈火青春) & My Heart is That Eternal Rose (殺手蝴蝶夢), and Eiichi Kudo's 1981 Japanese film Yokohama BJ Blues (ヨコハマBJブルース).

A very nice selection - Radiance haven’t disappointed for the most part so far with the titles they’ve released - I still have quite a few to watch but the subscription has been well worth it.

It's ok, I don't have much of a social life anyway. 🤣 And I thought since Trails in the Sky is getting remade, now is the time to get the other games in the series.

If I ever go missing from this forum for long periods, you'll know what's happened to me. 🤣

Been looking for them on Ebay, but the cheapest I can find for PS4 copies new is £48 each. Will keep looking.

Yup, really looking forward to it. I think I played through the original on psp about 5 times.

A few things from the week.

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered (PS5)

After missing out on this originally, I fortunately got it through a recent re-print from Video Games Plus, marking my first order with them and it arrived pretty quick as well.

This Rengoku figure I found for £15.00 in B&M which I couldn't pass up, especially considering he's my favourite character from the series.

They also had Tengen and Zenitsu, I may possibly get Tengen when I visit there next if it's in-stock still.

Note: The photo and lighting doesn't do the figure justice, I also forgot to remove the plastic protecting his sword as well in the pic.

Yesterday I visited the Heroes: Made in Asia convention in Utrecht, The Netherlands. There I picked up a bunch of stuff (mostly imported drinks). Highlight is of course the collector's edition of Metaphor: ReFantazio. Not included in this picture is a poster of Perfect Blue that I also picked up during the convention.

Those mochi with the fruity juicy filling are really nice IMO! And I friggin' love Perfect Blue! :)

My first recent Temu order with nine items arrived, I am happy with everything except the chain and hat - both are lovely except the chain it occurs to me might be tricky to take off when going to the loo, and the hat is too small for my head, but I love the other stuff, particularly the plushies and bag which I have taken my own photos of here, the plushies are really cute and soft and the bag is gorgeously vibrant pretty and shiny :)

From SciFier: The Art of Makoto Shinkai: a sky longing for memories.

This is a really nice book that not only displays some of Shinkai's gorgeous artwork, but also goes into a bit of detail on how Shinkai creates his art (largely his landscapes and cityscapes) and also includes some interviews from those who he has worked with.

Thanks to @RedundantSquash for recommending this one.

I also received a copy of Rune Factory 3 Special from The Game Collection for a good price.

Oooh top tip, which I must have missed in the previous posts. His background art has been stunning from the very beginning I think (not character art though, so I'm very glad he outsources that now😅). It's reduced on Amazon currently so I shall be getting that too! Thanks for the info peeps!

I rewatched 5cm/s and loved it even more than before. It hits harder having since rewatched his lighter subsequent movies numerous times. Trying to read the manga now as recommended.

I really like that it has two English dubs :)

(I also very much enjoy the movie itself haha) :)
