UK Anime Distributor MVM Entertainment Discussion Thread

Probably goin to not bother as much now with dotw was hoping get last week and this week before this week's overlapped with last week's but they pulled it so quick, sometimes have a few minutes but not this time, and if you use 20% off hmv can get this weeks for £16 rather than £17 at mvm, so not sure will be buying many more dotw now postage kills it and no time to add both last weeks and this as price changes
 
What are the chances of MVM getting Oshi no Ko? Seems like they're getting the majority of Sentai's big ticket titles with stuff like Urusei Yatsura and Chained Soldier.
Mr. MVM at liberty to confirm or deny ongoing discussions?

at this point it's been so long I do suspect maybe AL have it and are planning the usual 'bleed em dry edition' for around £150 though... 🤦‍♂️

My thoughts exactly, thought we'd see it way before Chained Soldier or even Eminence In Shadow (hence the AL theory)

Lycoris Recoil is more understandable, its in the Aniplex vault along with Irregular at Magic High School and many more.

We did enquire into Oshi no Ko a while back but sadly was not available.
 
Is there any reprints of Higurashi S1 coming? It’s not listed on AOL and most places seem to have it out of stock, though S2 and S3 are easy enough to find. Cheapest I can seem to find it (new) is about £40

Our license has now expired so we're just selling last of the stock of S2 & S3. The SRP on S1 was originally £49.99, so if you take into account our standard 25% off this would have been selling for £36.99 on our site. So if you can buy it for £40 and new I'd suggest grabbing it while you can.
