Games you played as a kid

Same concept as the 'Movies you watched as a kid' thread.

I loved a few of the original Playstation games.

Nightmare Creatures
, Walking around a haunted evil london in the 18th century or something was always fun, and scary.
Bloody Roar, Just a fighting game, except the characters turn into animals i think, i can't really remember it anymore.
Abe's Oddysee, Another strange game, a slide scroller. I can't remember much about the story or what you did. He burped and/or farted though.
and of course Bugs and Taz: Time Busters, you needed a mate to play this with. But it was one of the best two player games.

Pokemon, but that is just obvious.

Yeah abes oddysee for me too.
Also used to play some Mickey mouse game(cant remember the name)
Used to play snes Mario Kart a hell of a lot.
Also an old PS game called Starfighter 3000.
And a lot of others.

This is so weird, loads of people have mentioned games that I never thought anyone would have heard of... Jazz Jackrabbit, Theme Hospital and Monkey Island. I actually played Jazz Jackrabbit a couple of weeks back on this ridiculously old computer
I can't think of all the games I used to play, but some off the top of my head... Populus: The Beginning, Magic Carpet!!! (first game to use a joystick xD ), then the strategy games, Age of Empires 1+2, and the game no one has heard of or played, but a game which I adore in every aspect... Settlers 2,3,4. Oh and this random game called Worms Blast.. Worms but you sit in a boat and shoot these blocks that come down.. found this on my computer two days ago actually and have been playing it a bit, really fun xD

EDIT: Actually, going back even further, on an even older computer there was Duke Nuke'em, erm, Jason Storm! Jill of the Jungle.. then some kids learning games, Maths Workshop (everyone has to of played that), Zoombinis, this game with these two green aliens where you complete challenges... the load of Carmen Sandiago games, they were good!
Then of course all the classic N64 games.

Good times.

Settlers is a great game, I got really into that back in the day, also, anyone remember ToeJam and Earl, Loved that game, super fun to play with a mate.
Also, XCom Enemy unknown and Xcom TFTT, in my opinion the best ever turn based stratagy game series in existance 8)

Soleil (I am almost certain it was called that) on the Sega Megadrive.
I loved that game. (I used to play it at my cousins when it was raining and we couldn't go play outside). That and Theme Hospital ;D

I used to play a lot of Mario on the SNES too (The one where you could be a racoon & a frog?)

And Zombies on the SNES too! I loved that game  [/b]
