Parasyte - eps 1-12

The more you watch this, the more you realise it's basically just Death Note but with a weird alien instead of Ryuk. You can see most of the plot developments coming a mile off, but somehow it hooks you regardless - it must have been doing something right anyway as I stormed through it super quick. The romantic sub-plot is very nicely done too, and has some genuinely moving moments.
 
Prince of Tennis MOVIE: Eikokushiki Teikyuu Shiro Kessen!...i think i just watched a film about tennis but i'm not 100% sure. I had no idea tennis balls could cause that much destruction.
 
Just watched the first four episodes of attack on titan (thank you netflix) and its pretty enjoyable stuff so far. Episode four ended on a great note. Can't wait to pick it up again later tonight.
 
Bakemonogatari ep13-15

Finally decided to have another stab at the monogatari franchise, but realised that I never actually finished the first series. When I was watching it originally, I didn't bother with the last three episodes as it felt so much like ep12 had drawn a line under the whole thing (also I seem to remember a lot of negative comments about the Tsubasa Cat arc), but having gone back to it, I enjoyed that more than I expected to. May have to rewatch the whole thing now.

I wonder if the negative comments were about the way it was shown rather than the arc itself, because for me that was definitely one of the best arcs. Finally a glimpse into what happened in the past.

Watched Mayo Chiki 1-13 on BD over the last week or so, this was an upgraded re-watch from the previous DvD only.
