Code Geass: Akito the Exiled 2 - Finally sat down to watch this, and boy what a watch it was. When sunrise sit down and put the time and effort into their series, they quite possibly are the best at providing superb mecha combat sequences. This episode followed through with what episode 1 provided and then some. Akito finally gets a bit more coverage too, so he's not just this emote-less entity now. Now onto spoilery stuffs. Just gonna put it all in tags to avoid any spoiling This provided some interesting questions for me in terms of "what happens between season 1 and season 2". We had Lelouch, or "not lelouch" make his appearance in this one, uttering suzakus name and then fully revealing himself. But not only that, the approach it took made it look like he hadn't yet been brainwashed by Charles, or that he was fighting it somehow. It begs the question, when did he actually get geass'd, and what the hell is his role in euro-asia? Lancelot looks to be on the prep for the next episode too, so things get real now.
I honestly recommend you look into Akito if you've seen Geass already. It adds a lot more to the state of the world you see. Not only that, i get that same adrenaline rush i did with the original series too. I just want my next episode now, unfortunately that may still be a couple months away D:
Space Dandy episode 6 - I finally got back into watching season 1 of Space Dandy, still great wacky fun, and i can't help but feel this was just a full on spoof of multiplayer games honestly. I can't love the soundtrack enough either, it's perfectly put together.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders 18 - I think we have what, 5 more of the tarot cards to be revealed? so we're making progress. Joseph still best Jojo. Dat engrish.
Sailor Moon Crystal 3 - A good episode again, still can't get accustomed to those pesky CG transformations however. I had some issues over Rei's face for some of this episode though, i don't know if it was intentional or just bad animation, but her eyes seemed off-set on occasion.
