Rurouni Kenshin (Japanese Dub via Crunchyroll UK) - Episodes 1 and 2

I love the reaction Kenshin makes, it's funny.

Golden Time 12

Hmmm. I really did think that the events at the club would be the end of Koko and Banri's dream relationship. I still find Koko utterly magnetic, she knows what's wrong with herself yet can't help but be herself. She's an incredibly fascinating character if nothing else.

It's clear that Linda is still hiding her feelings for the old Banri. That dropped gaze as she was talking to him on the bank, it immediately reminded me of Minorin in Toradora doing something similar with Ryuuji. She's clearly doing it so that it doesn't harm the current Banri's relationship by muddling his feelings, but it still broke my heart when she tore up the photo. While Banri's actions were the "correct" thing to do to preserve his relationship with Koko, I'm still totally unconvinced that said relationship is a good idea. We'lll see how things go from here.

These episodes really fly by, can't wait for the next one.

I just watched this episode right now and
although I agree that what Banri with Linda was the "right" thing, I'm still crying like a little over it because it's as you say, Linda very obviously has feelings for Banri but is hiding them ("It's all the opposite, Banri" - I cracked and started sobbing at that). These last few episodes have had me mouthing shouting at characters, raising my hands up in the air as if I want to smack them. It truly is a fantastic show.

In regards to Koko, Banri needs to run. She couldn't even be away from him for one night without her leaving 68 texts, going to his apartment and phoning the police. With the events that transpired in this episode though, I think I've identified a key problem with them - both of them project any problem onto themselves as if it's their fault and Banri just doesn't explain things properly. Why not just admit that your memories suddenly returned and you've been left as a confused wreck, instead of just gushing on about Linda?! Damn it Banri, you're such a moron!

I really am a Linda fan.

Galilei Donna ep 11. *complete* Not much happened in the middle of this series, which left the anime with too much to do in the last episode and was horribly rushed. This episode followed the path laid by the rest of the series with events just happening for no reason other than to push the story forward. It also felt like they were leaving an opportunity open for the story to continue in a second season, but I doubt many people would want to watch it. This is a far cry from Noitamina's glory days.

Golden Time ep 12. The story is really getting into it's stride now. This relationship between Tada and Koko has somehow dodged the executioners axe, but I think we all know it won't last and will not end well. I actually wouldn't be surprised if there was no happy ending for anyone at the end of this series.

EDIT: Teekyu s1 ep 9-12 *complete* & s2 ep 1-12 *complete*. I just needed something to kill a little time tonight and remembered that I never finished watching this. Ended up watching all of season 2 as well

Kill la Kill 12

A pretty solid episode. I'm glad that the post-credit scene gave Ryuko a chance to continue hating Satsuki. Although I can still see them buddying up against Nui at some point.

Valvrave Season 2 Episode 11 - Still a really strong series. I get the impression only one or two of the main cast are actually going to live at this point though, it really does seem to be going down a Code Geass route and killing everyone off one by one. xD

Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai! - Been slowly rewatching this series with a close friend of mine (introducing them to the series so we can watch the second season together when it starts) and finally finished it today. I still don't see where the series can go with a second season, the ending of the first really felt perfect and I'm not sure a second is going to be able to top that. Reminded that I really like the final quote at the end of the show, do need to pull that up...

I realised again that I don't appreciate the early episodes as much as I did episode 6 onwards. Looking back at the series it needs the early episodes to work as well as it did, but still, I didn't get into the series that much until later on.

According to the official story synopsis, the second season deals with the whole reality of having a chunibyo girlfriend and them bam, a childhood friend of Yuta's (who is a lady) shows up.

I could see that working, but at the same time it feels unneeded? Guess we'll see how it handles things. The romance aspect of the show always did drive it nicely. ^^

Anyways. Kill la Kill episode 12 - This series never skips a beat ever. I'm liking where they're leading the series now, means we'll hopefully get to see more of the world rather than just the school. Power of friendship saved Ryuko again, wonder how many times they'll play that card as the series goes on. I'm glad she still has a reason to hate Satsuki too.

Samurai Flamenco episode 11 - Either the animation was a bit shakey this week, or I'm just slowly realising that the style of animation isn't suiting where the show is going. Not sure which.

I bought the Blu Ray of Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine on a whim and I'm quite enjoying it. The art style is brilliant and was the main reason I bought it. The story is quite mellow so far almost like a Cowboy Bebop which is great when I just wanna chill out.

Roujin-Z
Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings, the last party movie.

Night Raid 1931 episodes 0 to 7.5. First successful playback of a region A blu-ray on the computer via VLC.

Kill La Kill episode 12

The whole saved by friendship thing was a bit hackneyed but other than it was a good episode, though I did think the character of Nui was somewhat over-powered.

One Piece Movie: Strong World (DUB)

So that's my introduction to the One Piece franchise, and boy, was that a really good film.
Unfortunately I can't really see myself starting on the TV series for many reasons (Episode count, phased introduction of crewmates etc.) but I would like to see Film Z whenever Funi eventually brings that out.

Yawara 28-36
YuGiOh Duel Monsters 108-110 (I have this on while I'm tidying up, since it's dubbed)
Kuroko no Basket season 2 12
Space Brothers 87
Golden Time 12
Ace of Diamond 6-7
