I'm very shocked with the ending direction of the final few episodes.

High School DxD (English Dub) - Episode 1
Compared to the Japanese original, the English dub is pretty good. The main voices for the female character will take some time to get used to, since Rias and Akeno have great voices in the Japanese version. The English actresses for those two are acceptable.
For the three pervert characters, I approve their choice of voice actors. Issei's voice actor fits well alongside the original version, which is a plus. The two characters are not that bad and fit well too.
I noticed they added swearing and more references to porn to the English version, which is doable since it works with other shows like H.O.T.D.

It's settled. I LOVE THIS DUB. Thanks to the dub, my replayability for this show has increased.
I also noticed how different the credit text is between the DVD version and the Blu-ray version.

I have watched the first series of Sora no otshimono (Heaven's Lost Property)
It would be an excellent series if it had toned down some of the fan-service.
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on Series 2 (Forte), although if it's DVD or Blu-Ray will depend if the blu-ray is region AB.

Was going to watch Black Lagoon S2 Epi. 4 but my DVD players seems to fight back against the Region Free trick. Luckily my laptop is region free for BDs.

Gabbed the copy of GITS stand alone complex season 1 I picked up in the HMV sale a while back and watched 1-8
As good as ever though Manga's dvd setup back then was terrible, poorly placed chapter stops & menu designs. Few glitches in the show which I assume are authoring issues too.

I liked it a lot but your right that it's fan service heavy. A lot of stuff seems to trend that way at present, there are some good stories to be told if one can look past the boobs.
