Sister princess

Bamboo Blade eps 8 and 9 yesterday, Tama-chan is adorable at her job.

Papa Iukoto ep 6 just now. Boring episode, and there were quite a few glaring timing errors in Crunchyroll's subtitles. Looks like we might finally get some kind of interesting developments in the next episode.

AnoNatsu e.5 - I guess it's deliberate that the "movie" is such an obvious parallel to what is actually happening, but it does come across as slightly too forced, even if that is the intention. It's a hard criticism to articulate, but it's close to when a parody drifts towards becoming the thing it is taking the mickey out of.

Aside from that though, the characters are still compelling, and quite beautiful to watch.

DanshiNichijou e.5 - This is a hard show to comment on each week, as it is consistently funny without anything stand-out to remark on. The closing section with the High School Girls started with a great gag, but could probably do with only being maybe one or two minutes long each week.

I would have no issues with dealing out an attitude adjustment to the one with the twintails, though.

Another e.5 - An exemplary piece of episode plotting, providing the answers to a couple of burning questions but still leaving the overall situation only more intriguing than it was before. This show is really moving in the right direction.

Watched a lot of anime the past few weeks:

Slayers Try episodes 6-26
Starship Operators episodes 1-13
Gurren Lagann episodes 1-3
and rewatched Code Geass episodes 1-5.

Let's See... Over the week or So...

Hunter x Hunter: Episodes 18 - 19
Final Hunter exam stage now, I'm really now starting to get excited for Heaven's Arena/Celestial Tower sometime soon!

Samurai Girls: Episodes 1 - 3

Poyopoyo: Episode 6

Bodacious Space Pirates: Episode 6

Spice and Wolf: Episode 7
Have reached a point after watching on FUNImation that this series is most definitely purchase-worthy sometime soon!

Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne: Episodes 4 - 6
I'm really enjoying it now, and that OST...So Maru! I've Pre-Ordered it!

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE - Episode 18

A very good episode, Gundam AGE seems to be getting into its stride now.

Silent Mobius - The Motion Picture 1 & 2

Last watched these on a VHS fansub the best part of twenty years ago, still very good films today, now I just need to see the TV series!

Inu x Boku SS 5
The funniest part? How every staff member in the credits were sorted into S or M.

Naruto Shippuden 248 and 249.
My favourite mini-arc of the entire series. I honestly hope that the next Naruto movie is just this mini-arc reanimated with a movie budget. My eyes, tears be falling from them.

I have to ask, since i watched that last night myself. But did you find the end of the episode to be..well, Gundam Seed-like? I realise the new design for the Gundam looks like Exia in some ways, but the character interactions feels more seed-like, much how season 1 felt so much like the original MSG in places, if not for a fair bit of it.
