Eh, having watched the first episode as well, I'm more on the fence about Ms. Wolf. I think the underlying idea of parodying fairy tales is quite clever, but the clubroom antics left me cold and the way they brought the Cinderella element into the story felt somewhat forced. I did like the short sketch after the end credits though.

The fairytales thing in nothing new, are you not watching Lilpri.

Lilpri doesn't really parody fairy tales, though, right, so much as it just uses them as a touchstone for its characters? It's a kids show, after all. There's a very clear difference between how cleverly Ookami-san uses its "source material" and a lot of other things that take some inspiration from them, although I agree it's not a wholly unique idea.

Never heard of it. I wasn't suggesting it was a completely original idea, I just thought it was interesting.

In the interests of content, the new series of Black Lagoon appears to be more of the same. And this is entirely acceptable :)

Another curently airing show, it's on CR.
Mahou shoujo: disney princess meets iDOLM@STER.

The fairytale tie in is done fairly similarly in both. but more blatent and plot related in Lilpri.

Got my Hell Girl Season 1 Complete Set that was recently (re?)released in america so I've been giving that a whirl so I can finally finish it off.
Some more Nana (Eps 15,16 and 17 I believe)
Started on Dragonball Kai blu ray 1
And Durarara episode 10. Which was just fantastic.

Fullmetal Alchemist. Finished in an incredibly awesome way. Now they are doing movies... I'd like for them to adapt the material properly, trim all the **** and give us six films/arcs - with a huge budget.

Going to watch some DRRR and Zombie High School later.
