Lonely Castle in the Mirror (Japanese) - Movie (Complete)

Enjoyed this movie, was sweet at times but also had good representation of characters experiences with certain issues I felt (keeping it vague as not to spoil). Solid movie overall, I'll be picking up the blu-ray when it releases in the future.

I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills: oh dear, the first couple of episodes were amusing, but it rapidly spiralled into inconsistent drivel. I shall finish the series but I doubt it'll be taking a place on my shelf. Yet another unassuming overpowered lad saves the world, though how farming skills make a teenager a hundred times more powerful than warriors who fight for a living. Not even any fan service or witty repartee to lighten the load.
 
I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills: finished, but I regret keeping going, as the final villain was a ridiculous surprise and then nothing happened to resolve anything. It looks like they were hoping for a second series. Good luck with that!

Shuffle! episodes 1-4: standard high school harem scenario, with added daughters of the kings of the Demon Realm and the Realm of the Gods. Characters are OK and it's pleasant enough to keep half-watching.

The Sacred Blacksmith episodes 1-6: Not impressed. The swordswoman (with the - as everyone keeps pointing out - huge boobs) from a proud family who can't kill versus the whiny master blacksmith (who's still a teenager?) who refuses to work.

As Miss Beelzebub Likes It episodes 1-5: So the demon lord is a cute girl who's obsessed with fluffy things and sleeps naked (with a fluffy thing ahem between her legs, and the young attendant whose trying to get her to work. Never has Hell been depicted as such as cute and friendly place. Had to stop for a bit, as the cuteness meter was reaching critical levels ... and I need to leave the house to buy food and stuff.
 
As Miss Beelzebub Likes It episodes 6-12: so cute. I think the first episode was the most revealing, and even that was covering all the "personal bits". Still, it's more about two teenagers being too dense to realise they are falling in love. I don't recommend thinking too closely about how an immortal angel fallen from grace and become the administrative leader of Hell can also be a teenage shut-in girl, or why Hell is like a theme park version of a medieval European town. Sometimes it's best to just go with the flow.
