Finished Moribito! I think this worked better for me than the creator's other series The Beast Player Erin (tho tbf this series doesn't have Joeun!), I got a lot out of watching and would recommend it Now I am watching Season 1 of Sound Euphonium!

Flip Flappers episodes 1-7: What the flap is flipping going on? I mean it's entertaining and action packed with some lovely visual scenes, but it is very surreal so far. Hopefully the second half will answer at least some of my questions.

Despite my initial reservations based on previous installments of Muv luv anime, I have really enjoyed this first half of the series. It has an interesting premise with some well thought world politics, everything else is standard modern anime trope but I can easily overlook that. I'm looking forward to the second half.
