Your Top 10 Anime of the Decade (Unreasonable Rules Edition!)

Yeah, this is a tough one... especially when I prefer older anime over anything made in the 2010s. That said...

  4. WataMote (2013)

  6. Happy Sugar Life (2018)
  7. Madoka Magica (2011)
  8. Hourou Musuko (2011)

This was difficult. It's been a really strong decade for anime (well, aside from the isekai plague, but every decade is over-saturated with something).

I keep thinking I've already posted in this thread for some reason. Oh well. In no particular order:

Laid Back Camp (Yuru Camp) - made me care about an entire genre I had no interest in
The Woman Called Fujiko Mine - the most interesting thing to happen to the Lupin franchise in years
Mob Psycho 100 - Reigen is my spirit animal
The Tatami Galaxy - still my favourite Masaaki Yuasa anime
A Place Further Than the Universe - the central idea feels kind of ludicrous, yet the show made me absolutely believe in it
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - you dare to approach me?
Death Parade - proved equally rewarding on repeat viewings
Jormungand - dismissed at the time, but found the unusual subject matter very engaging when I went back to it
Devilman Crybaby - not sure I'd want to do it again, but man, that was a trip
Barakamon - it me.
