Distributor Anime Limited released the critically acclaimed film Your Name for home video during the month of November, and now Amazon Prime owners can watch both the original Japanese audio version with English subtitles and the English dubbed version on the service.

Mitsuha and Taki are total strangers living completely different lives. But when Mitsuha makes a wish to leave her mountain town for the bustling city of Tokyo, they become connected in a bizarre way. She dreams she is a boy living in Tokyo while Taki dreams he is a girl from a rural town he’s never visited.

What does their newfound connection mean? And how will it bring them together?

Your Name was released in July 2016 by director Makoto Shinkai and became the highest grossing anime film of 2016 in Japan, followed by the fifth highest grossing film overall in Japan. The film saw theatrical releases across the world including the United Kingdom & Ireland by Anime Limited in November 2016 and the United States & Canada by Funimation in April 2017.

Don’t forget that Amazon Prime will also be simulcasting exclusive anime titles from Animeism and NoitaminA throughout each season, including Beatless, the director’s cut of Killing Bites, and Koi wa Ameagari no You ni in the upcoming Winter 2018 season.
