I still haven't found anything that I like quite as much as
Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged, but I do have a fondness for the
Gantz one and Little Kuriboh's
Naruto series. I have enjoyed some various takes on Pokemon in the past, too, and I watch
Hikaru no Go's abridged series whenever it shows up, but nothing has really
got to me in the same way as
Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged.
A great deal of them have their good parts, mind, even when the sum of their parts is somewhat disappointing. I do not like TFS's
Dragonball series at all--but I recognise that there are spells of good humour in there. Likewise, Weekly Tube Show has a fairly diverse array of
Dragonball parodies that sometimes prove highly entertaining, despite frequently degenerating into some
samey bouts of obscenity. His
Fist of the North Star: Abridged episode plays home to some very funny bits of dialogue, too.
I've taken to watching
None Piece, recently, which I have found to be one of the most arresting attempts at abridging
One Piece. If I was to recommend any series, that would get my vote presently. Bear with it through its over-the-top opening sequence and you might find something quite compelling.
