A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Episodes 6-12 (End). I was really getting into this series, and then it just... ended. I was thinking, "Well this ended in a way where it has to be getting a second season!," and so I checked online and found out it is getting another season, so now I'm happy! 🥳

May I ask for One Final Thing? Episodes 12-13 (End) This is by far my favorite anime of the Fall season, and Scarlet is definitely my ultimate waifu of 2025 - I absolutely love her! I am ready to marry her in a heartbeat, she is gorgeous! The way the season ended somewhat makes it seem there won't be any continuation, but with its popularity I'm really hoping a second season does get announced!


Also, I'm watching the three series below specifically to see if I like any of them enough to buy the Sentai steelbooks being released next year for my anime steelbook collection:

Loner Life in another World Episodes 1-8. This seems to be a fairly middling Isekai, nothing outstanding so far, but bing a big fantasy anime fan, I don't dislike it... I most likely will pick up the steelbook after it plummets from the initial sky-high Sentai steelbook prices.

Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! Episodes 1-4. Ecchi anime that I have confirmed shows boobies with nibblies, so will definitely be grabbing the steelbook for this one.

2.5 Dimensional Seduction (Not started yet). I was told this anime had all of the ecchiness from the manga completely removed, so it may come across as somewhat boring, but I will need to check out a few episodes at least.

It also unfortunately has a translation by one of those self-centered localizers who think it's their right to rewrite things they do not like to suit their own social agenda. :mad:
 
TOUGEN ANKI episode 24 Cheering up. (Complete. Having read the initial manga volumes for site review purposes, seeing this adapted beyond this point has presented a decent watch so far - but I can see where its issue lie, and I hope these can be improved with the second season.) 3.5/5

Baki Hanma 2nd Season ONAs 16-27 (Complete. It took me a while to get around to this sequel series but I thought it was a solid enough continuation and with another new season coming in 2026 I picked a good time to watch.) 3.5/5

BanG Dream It’s MyGO!!!!! episodes 1-13 (Complete. Though the melodramatics could be a little overwrought in places this was a good music drama which leads way for the spinoff coming next.) 4/5

Ugh. So, are the subtitles affected too, or are you referring mainly to the dub? I do not watch anime dubbed in English whatsoever, so I would never know or care if they bastardized the dub track, but if they messed with the subtitles in the same manner, I simply won't buy it. 2.5 Dimensional Seduction will most likely be fairly low on my list of wants anyway, as I tend to steer clear of most high school romcoms. I'll just have to watch a couple of episodes subbed and decide if it's worth skipping a steelbook release for my collection or not.

TTS Airbats, one of my earliest dvd anime titles, haven't watched it in at least 15 years but I remember that it was a fun short title to watch.

Spy x Family Season 3 Episode 50 Recuperate. (Complete. SxF continues to impress with this installment - hopefully we get another continuation.) 4/5

Tales of Wedding Ring's Season 2 (Uncensored) Episode 25 Homeward honeymoon. (Complete. A second season that steadily progressed the story towards the climax while also developing the sensual relationship between the MC and his harem.) 3.5/5

@Girls with Guns I'm not a particularly huge fan of their translator either, but fwiw I don't think the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction is any better or worse than any of Sentai's other shows. In fact, it's quite in line with how CR took Dress-Up Darling (which is also fine). Nothing can be subtitled 1 to 1 with the original Japanese without sounding stilted; every show is localised to some degree, and this doesn't seem particularly off-kilter from the intentions of the original script.

I also don't think that article should be taken as a source of truth. Because, aside from anything else, the anime script in Japanese will not have been 1 to 1 with the manga script either, so you can't compare the two without accounting for any changes that were made just between manga and anime. And the fan translator will have had their own feelings about the appropriate direction to take the dialogue.

Anyway, just wanted to throw in my two cents since that show is one I didn't expect to like but ended having really enjoyed it. It's far more than a romance series; it puts a lot of effort into exploring the creative interests the kids have as well as feelings of fandom on a broader scale, and I appreciated that angel a great deal.
 
Kingdom 6th Season episode 155 Left hanging. (Complete. Kingdom maintains its strengths with this latest season and another has been confirmed so I’ll be keenly anticipating that.) 4.5/5

BanG Dream! Ave Mujica: The Die is Cast episodes 1-13 (Complete. Not as good as the preceding series for me overall.) 3/5

Bastard!! OVAs 1-6 (Complete. A dark fantasy with a decent amount of fun to keep it entertaining - will check out the recent adaptation next.) 3.5/5
