Inexpressive Kashiwada and Expressive Oota Episode 12 Festive finale. (Complete. An enjoyable series that made for some comy wholesome viewing.) 3/5

My Friend's Little Sister Has It In for Me!
Episode 12 The show must go on. (Complete. One of this seasons weaker shows that had it's moments here and there but otherwise this wasn't that memorable overall.) 2.5/5

My Hero Academia: Final Season (English Dub) Episode 10

Ranma ½ (2024) 2nd Season Episode 24 Duel. (Complete. I too have have enjoyed this new adaptation and I'm also hoping a 3rd isn't too far away either.) 4/5

Tales of Wedding Ring's Season 2 (Uncensored) Episode 24 Final fight.

Tales of Wedding Ring's Season 2 (English Dub) Episode 22

The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest Episode 12 Truths. (Complete. Though this was decent enough with what it had to offer - the overall conclusion was rather predictable.) 3/5

Touring After the Apocalypse Episode 12 The journey continues. (Complete. This for me was an intriguing watch with it's post-apocalyptic setting - however I'm rather perplexed as to why the series left many questions unanswered.) 3/5

Dad is a Hero, Mom is a Spirit, I'm a Reincarnator Episode 12 Reap what you sow. (Complete. An enjoyable fantasy series with it's likeable core cast of characters.) 3.5/5

Hands off: Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun (Uncensored)
Episode 12 Morals and massages. (Complete. Half lengh fanservicy episodes that surprisingly and for once don't push the broadcasting boundaries thanks to the series main plot.) 3/5

Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right
Episode 11

One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 11

Spy x Family Season 3 (English Dub) Episode 47

My Hero Academia: Final Season (Japanese) - Episode 169 - 170 (Complete)

After almost a decade we're at the end of MHA. It has been a great ride with both ups and downs but it ended on a high note for me with these last couple of seasons. Though it was a simple ending, I really liked it personally, I enjoy a happy ending and it felt fitting for what the series is.

Though it's over at least we have the extra episode next year as well as Vigilantes so it isn't goodbye to the world of MHA just yet and I'm looking forward to these future projects.

Ranma 1/2 (2024) (Season 2) (English) - Episode 23 - 24 (Complete)

This was a fun second season of Ranma 1/2, introducing more wacky characters and the situations they cause Ranma and co. to get into made this an enjoyable time. Getting further into the series now I feel I preferred this over the first season which is a good thing and would probably enjoy S1 more on a re-watch now (not that I didn't enjoy it by any means).

Hopefully, like others have said, there will be a third season soon enough, I'm definitely looking forward to more Ranma.

Spy x Family (Season 3) (Japanese) - Episode 47

Gachiakuta episode 24 Sweets. (Complete. A solid start and I hope this gets continued as I can see both the appeal and potential of this series.) 3.5/5

One Piece
episode 1154 The chosen ones.

One-Punch Man Season 3 episode 35 Running mouth.

Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray Part 2 episode 23 Newcomer. (Complete. I remain very impressed with this series and it’s definitely one of the strongest of the year.) 4.5/5

Agatha Christie’s Great Detectives Poirot and Marple
episodes 38-39 (Complete. Not the most consistently good mystery anime I’ve seen but it had some good case arcs.) 3/5

Ai Tenchi Muyou!
Episodes 1-50 (Complete. A series of four-minute episodes that though sometimes fun didn’t really live up the previous entries in the franchise.) 2.5/5

Angel Heart
episodes 1-10

A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace Episode 12 Autographs.

Isekai Quartet 3 (English Dub) Episode 9

Isekai Quartet 3 Episode 11 Sing. (Complete. IQ continues the fun by introducing EIS into the mix which made this another enjoyable outing.) 3.5/5

My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero's
Episode 12 Burden. (Complete. A fairly solid fantasy series and my personal favorite from this season for which I would definitely welcome a second season.) 3.5/5

A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace episode 12 Rescheduling.

Gintama – Mr. Ginpachi’s Zany Class episode 12 Recruitment. (Complete. Gintama always provide some good value and this spinoff was a solid addition to the franchise.) 3.5/5

Isekai Quartet 3
episode 11 Radius. (Complete. A fun enough continuation of this shorter series but the charm is wearing off a bit for me.) 3/5

Angel Heart
episodes 11-32

To all the One-Piece haters on here, few in number though you are, I, your long time former comrade and brother in arms, am ashamed and sorry to report that I have fallen. I thought I should finally watch the cursed show to better understand my enemy, to know just how annoying the straw hatted one really is. But after 28 eps I can no longer pretend I'm still watching it for research purposes, I...I LIKE ONE PIECE....and straw hat and sandals and jorts be damned I EVEN LIKE LUFFY. sigh
I watch an episode on BBC iplayer every morning, it's become a part of my daily routine I really look forward to. I'm not sure I could handle the INTENSE cheerfulness and optimism at any other time of day though. It's the most shonen thing in the world, but probably the best shonen show in the world too, so far at least anyway. I love how zany and stupid and camp it is. My only criticism so far is that it's a shame Nami the only female crew member so far is also the only one without an over the top badass ability and she's just a theif.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skills Season 2 episode 24 Crushed ice. (Complete. Another comfy and easygoing season and I’ll happy take another.) 3.5/5

Angel Heart
episodes 33-50 (Complete. A spin-off to City Hunter that though not always the strongest of stories still delivered a solid watch - it was good to finally watch this courtesy of the Discotek release.) 3.5/5

Revolutionary Girl Utena - Episodes 27 - 39 [Final]

Utena lives up to its reputation and I'm happy to to have finally watched it. The tension and interplay, overlaid with detail and nuance, between characters is very good with some clever visuals that ramp up the tension, along some nice looking action scenes, had me gripped from start to finish. I have to say it's hard to not to see Evangelion's influence running through it though, in some of the scenes you could have swapped out Utena for Shinji and they would have still played out the same,

Revolutionary Girl Utena - Adolescence Apocalypse

A decent 'snap-shot' of the series, it recreates some of the tension but lacks the nuance that made the TV series great.

Super Power Robo Galatt - Episode 1

I watched Galatt raw back in the 00's and have long watched to watch it subbed so now that a fansub was recently completed I had to dive straight into it.

Devilman (OVA) - Episodes 1 & 2 [Final]

I last saw this over 30 years ago on VHS and I really enjoyed watching it again (I was surprised how much of it I remembered tbh), it's an entertaining action horror OVA and looks great in HD.

Ranma 1/2 (2024) - Episodes 23 & 24 [Season 2 Final]

I think this is a good remake of Ranma 1/2 for a new audience, story wise it doesn't do anything new if you're familiar with previous iterations of Ranma 1/2 but I like how this version looks and uses modern animation techniques effectively in it.

801 T.T.S. Airbats

I've seen Airbats quite a few times (I still have the DVD set of it) and am a big fan of it, despite its complicated production making it feel a bit disjointed there are some great episodes and I think it often gets overlooked when people talk about 90's OVAs these days.

Arjuna episodes 1-13 (Complete. This was a good lesser-known sci-fi series to check out.) 3.5/5

Baki Hanma 2nd Season ONAs
1-2

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2 Episode 24 (Complete. Another enjoyable outing from this and I aswell would definitely welcome a 3rd season.) 3.5/5

Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle
Episode 9 Trauma.

With You, Our Love Will Make It Through Episode 11 Rumour.

Black Jacku (OVA) Ep1-2

Had watched 10/12 of this, when fairly new to anime. Remember basically sod all, besides 9/10ing it, so it's like watching for the first time anew~

What attracted me way back when was it being a darker re-imagining of Tezuka's work (which I never read). Recalled it being a lot like Mushishi, where supernatural-ish medical issues are dealt with in a detective-investigative manner. What I didn't know was that, with Dezaki at the helm, it's essentially Golgo 13 aesthetically / tonally, mixed with episodic Mushishi cases. Each ep is half a movie length, and the celporn presentation makes this one of those rare gems that gain extra life on huge, HD screens... unlike the 15" CRT monitor I originally watched it on.

Bit worried about the later episodes, inc two that came out 2011ish. But for now, it's something I loved in the distant past that holds up. 'Tis rare. Both episodes kept me guessing, whilst distracting me with atmospheric eye-candy. The constant waves crashing into the isle, gusts of wind, crows and whatnot gave it a feeling of motion anime oft lacks.

Agatha All Along
- Episode 1 - 3

With Avengers: Doomsday releasing next year I thought it was about time I catch up on the MCU titles I'm yet to see. For now I'm just planning to catch up on the live-action titles, these include Agatha All Along, Captain America: Brave New World, Daredevil: Born Again, Thunderbolts*, Ironheart and The Fantastic Four: First Steps which isn't to much tbh, I did well keeping up over the years plus it's helped the output has slown down quite a bit as well.

On the animated side I have seen the first two seasons of What If...? so I'll likely watch S3 to finish the series. With X-Men '97 I've never seen the original series this is a sequel to and there is quite a lot of it and tbh, I don't have much interest in watching it so by extension I probably won't watch '97 making this my first MCU skip.

Your Fridendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man is Spider-Man so I have more motivation to check this out but I'm in no rush. Eyes of Wakanda I didn't even realise came out, I don't have much interest in it but it's only four episodes so I might as well check it out eventually. Finally Marvel Zombies is an extension of the What If...? episode so I'll likely watch that as well.

On the non-Marvel Studios TV shows, I've seen Daredevil and The Defenders as well as the first season of Jessica Jones. I'll re-watch S1 of Jessica Jones as well as the seasons I haven't seen prior to Born Again S2 and I'll also likely watch The Punisher before S1 of Born Again to be up-do-date on his character before-hand (no idea if anything in the series is brought up though, I'm leaning more to just Daredevil being more of the required watching there). I don't have much interest in Luke Cage and Iron Fist but if they're announced to show up in a future project I'll watch those.

For the others I watched S1 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. way back, I did enjoy it but I'm fine if I never finish it. I also saw Inhumans and never need to see it again. I've also seen S1 of Agent Carter and wouldn't mind watching S2 but it is no priority. I feel like Runaways and Cloak & Dagger will never be brought up again so they're at the bottom of the list.
