Gundam Wing Episodes 7-13 You can see Wing beginning to strain under its own weight here. Episode 12 feels like a stand out because it was allowed to focus on doing exactly 2 things. Still having a lot of fun with it. Despite how thinly spread the series is the story has managed to stay engaging and moving the wider plot forward.

Hunter x Hunter Episode 36 (Rewatch) & Episode 37 - 40 - Hunter x Hunter is an anime that's been on my list for ages. I've seen the first arc and thought it had a lot of charm while the Heaven's Arena arc got bogged down in repetition and exposition. Perhaps a fault of the adaptation from the manga? Fortunately the series has more spring in its step now. The short breather episodes were enjoyable and fleshed out Gon's relationships. Now it's gotten most of the set-up for how Nen works out of the way it's now got room to do more interesting things again. Animation seems to have improved as well. I think my goal will be to complete this current arc and then decide if it be better to switch over to the manga.
