Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Meteor Mission! (Japanese) - Episode 53 - 56 (Complete)

After six years these promotional short episodes have finally come to an end and they really were nothing special for the most part but were some dumb fun of different characters from the series duking it out. There was the odd episode here and there though which had some really great cuts of animation which surprised me but they were far and few in-between.

The last arc of the series though, Meteor Mission!, looked absolutely awful as they went with using the low-quality in-game models of the DB Heroes arcade game and really was a lackluster way to end these off. At least we have Daima coming in around a month or so which has some stellar looking animation so can't wait for that!

The Relative Worlds (Film) Not a bad watch but also not a film I’m likely to revisit. 3/5

Finally finished Sorcerous Stabber Orphen season 2: Happily, they got rid of most of the serious stuff and the first 80% of the series was just the main characters bitching about one another while wandering the land. I got confused by the episode when the trolls tried to go to the moon, as earlier episodes had showed two moons in the sky (apparently locked in synchronous orbit). Traditional apocalyptic finale. Some fun outtakes from the old ADV gang in the extras. No-one cares about extras anymore, do they?

Read a fair amount of manga while busy, including Invaders of the Rokujyouma (the first six volumes are very close to the anime series, so I'm about to enter new territory) and The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter (light and fluffy fun with big sexual overtones and a creepy kid sister we could do without).

Now the hell that is August is out of the way, I can get back to binging some of the backlog.
