Two new BL titles from Seven Seas tonight, the second being the excellent Sleeping Dead by Nemui Asada which has been oft requested and is promised in an omnibus edition (which will probably be a substantial volume, given the length of #2!).

And after much protest at the changed title when first announced in 2025, Seven Seas have now revealed tonight that this will be released with the original title (just like the upcoming French version from Hana, btw):

It was previously announced What’s Up With Noumi-senpai and they swiftly got in trouble for it
More details... The original title refers directly to The Apology of Socrates (Plato) and the blurb for the French edition from Hana explains the relevance a little more clearly than the US blurb:

'Masataka Noumi, a third-year philosophy student, lives by following Socrates' precept to the letter: "the important thing is not to live, but to live well". Debauched, always broke, an inveterate smoker, he likes above all to play mahjong or pachinko and read philosophy books.
Invited to participate in a reading circle, he meets Eito Tan, a first-year student, whose seriousness contrasts diametrically with Masataka's hedonistic character.
Eito, openly gay, is looking for his soulmate. Masataka, intrigued, tries to get closer to him, but the least we can say is that Eito doesn't really seem to enjoy his dissolute lifestyle...'

Two new BL releases announced today from Yen Press and Ize Press - no dates yet; I recommend The Crow's Ballad (by Sakuhiro) if you like BL set in a world of Japanese mythological creatures!
