X the series episode ZERO

Im going to start watching X the complete collection tonight and im looking forward to it. However i heard that there is a OVA before episode one, called episode ZERO and that it tells you what happens through out the series.

Is this true? and if so, should i avoid this episode?
 
Yeh i believe it sums up the series can't say for sure though, slso there is an x movie but there both different
Word of warning i thought it was redlly boring and finished it but it was a real drag, art is cool though
 
It's a major spoiler.
You shouldn't watch it until after, it's more a post series summary (just set before as one of the charaters can see the future).
