worst thing thats happened to you?

Being in the hospital room with my Nan when she died. Well actually the hollow, non speaking shell she had been for her last few days was worse. Also related to that, when my Dad came in to tell me she wouldn't be leaving the hospital and was crying :( I've only seen him cry twice- the second time was when he entered the hospital room and saw she'd gone.

Having pleurisy and missing 3 months of school (GCSE's were going on at the time, so I was ALMOST royally f*cked).

Yeah, and family members dying, though I was somewhat unphased by them all, being the emotionless robot from Uranus that I am.

Going into hospital and nearly dying, and reaching 5 stone weight....

scary times.

Yeah, life's a bitch at times....just gotta battle on through.

When mum died a couple of years ago (almost). Still miss her, as she was my best friend, and she understood me most of all. The rest (besides family) are just posers and acquaintances.

Otherwise, it's days when the PC needs reformatting (like today) and you loose everything you've put onto it. And it's always my PC that has the family stuff on it. Well geez, if it wasn't bad enough, my accident makes me scapegoat. Damn viruses!

I can't really say there's been a worst thing that's happenend to me. Sure, stuff's gone wrong sometimes but nothing that even comes close to some of the stuff in this thread. I've never lost a family member (all my grandparents are still alive), never had a grave illness (I've never even broken a bone!) and big bad stuff just generally hasn't happened. If I were the superstitious type, I'd say it was good luck, but I know it's just fluke.

Emotionally id suppose leaving zambia. I really felt i had a home there and leaving my second family behind was truly heartwrenching. Twas bawling like a lil baby at the check-in desk all the way to the plane and for a good hour once i was on there! The only saving grace was my final shout as i got to check-in which made EVERYONE in the airport look at me....

Theres worse stuff but man this thread is depressed enough as it is!
:D

Hm, you should get a external hdd. They are pretty cheap and you should be able to back up all your data onto it. Either that, or stop visiting them strange hentai sites, just kidding! ;D

Losing my Grandpa a few years back i think is the worst thing. Something that brought me thinking because i didnt really contact him as much as id liked to when he was still alive.

Well, we have one, but it was connected to my bro's PC... I just never used it myself. :x Baka.
I'm seriously peeved about it though. I'm limited to using my bro's PC for one-off looks because of that b*****d program. I was looking for Doujinshi too (on the off-chance there was a non-hentai comic). Next time, I'll wait for a convention... ;)

partitioning my HDD to run Ubuntu.

completey screwed that up as I wiped everything from my windows system when formating it.

Lost everything, even my sanity, as I didn't produce backups. like the n00bish thing you do

I had/have too much bad stuff going on to bother listing. No point dredging up depressing stuff.

Why do people like making these threads? Why would anyone want to remember depressing stuff?

FInding out I am allergic to Dairy Products it means wherever I go I always have to check the ingrediants of everything on the menu, if its a party I rarely eat at them as it means searching for whoever prepared or bought the food and asking if there is something I am allergic to it.

In the grand scheme of things its a minor complaint though

Dunno, could be a number of reasons. I.e. Helps people to get to know you more, self-expression, letting things go, generally depressed at the time + announce it to ease it, etc.

Maybe it is depressing, but I suppose it's just human to be depressing like we would do to being happy. (Like your 2 sides of a coin, we express our greatest and worst times.)
