Crunchyroll will be starting things off for premium members with Boku-no-imoutowa.
Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan”, tells the story of Kyosuke, a boy who has been reunited with his sister after 10 years of living apart. However, his little sister Namika is nothing like he remembers.

Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan” is another collaboration between director and designer Sota Sugahara and writer Kotaro Ishidate, who previously worked together on the first season of gdgd Fairies. Ryoko Shirashi, best known for her roles as Hayate in the Hayate the Combat Butler series and Kaede Nagase in Negima!, will star as the main character. His younger sister will be voiced by Kana Asumi, whose credits include Yukikaze Panettone from Dog Days, Kiyal in Gurren Lagann, and Ran from the Shugo Chara series.

The series is based off of a series of popular books called “Osaka Rules” by Chukei Shuppan, which offers a humorous look at how to deal with people from Osaka, who are stereotypically portrayed as being louder and more forward than their Tokyo counterparts.

I don't think that is being streamed in the UK, just everywhere else. I believe AOD is still showing it in this country.

I think JustPa means he wasn't sure whether it would keep running through the end of the season (I believe it's currently planned two be two cour, though I'm hoping we'll get at least twice as much as that when all is said and done).

The initial announcement for the autumn season was that it would be free, and that following that 'apology' to the fans, it would be back to business going forward. If they continue with Magi, as I expect them to, it will be behind the paywall from Cour 2 onwards.

Apparently a lot of Crunchyroll's new announcements so far this season are for five minute shorts...

They have a couple of catalogue titles due for announcement today. Hopefully they won't be locked away from the UK.

ANN Reports that Crunchyroll is to stream Ishida and Asakura Comedy Anime.

2-minute shorts of high school antics to premiere in Japan on January 6

The Comic Natalie website reports that the media service Crunchyroll will stream the Ishida and Asakura (Ishida to Asakura) gag comedy anime overseas as it airs in Japan. The two-minute surreal comedy shorts will premiere on Tokyo MX TV station on Sunday, January 6 at 10:27 p.m.

Masao's original manga centers on the friendship of high school boys Asakura (Weiß Survive's Nobuhisa Nakamoto) who "wants to become a teacher at a girls' school in the future" and Ishida (Kamisama Kiss's Shūta Morishima) who "wants to become a florist with Asakura in the future."

EDIT: and those catalogue titles "Hula Girls" and "Documentary of AKB48: to be continued", live action, were indeed locked away from the UK.

Got five new shows to announce for AoD actually as well it seems - final contract pending but while a few i's and t's are dotted I persuaded folk to make this season of Anime on Demand free as well.

Broadcast will be as close to Japan as possible but for at least one of our partners it's only their second season of simulcasts so they're still adapting. We're helping to ease them in before things really ramp up though...

*whistles innocently and wanders off again*

See further down, as we're warming up for something big pretty soon, I persuaded everyone to let this season remain free so Magi finishes as it started and the five new shows go that way too.

Looking forward to finally having the delicious NDA lifted so I can talk more openly at last too...

Frequent skirmishes between humans and demons in the intensely cold southern kingdoms have caused everyone much suffering and confusion.

In the midst of all this turmoil, one hero stood up and set forth with his three companions to subjugate the demon clan. Their advance became a great source of hope for the people of the central nations.
