As a type of comic/graphic novel, I like the beauty, the pacing, the range of emotions displayed, the abstraction from reality, the storytelling. Some manga can be really inspiring.
As a comic, I love comics in general - the ability to dip and out if you need to, I often take about 15-30mins to read a full volume the first time around, and then take 1-2 hrs reading it again to fully absorb the artwork and the layout etc.
