Who'd win in a fight between Gundam and Macross?

TBF i'd like to see the macross even scratch the Destroy

Pitting the Macross itself against a single Destroy Gundam hardly seems like a fair fight...

The only individual Gundams the Macross could even begin to lose against are the Devil and Turn-A.

Most Gundams would murder Valkyries, on account of them having indestructable pilots and far, far more powerful weaponry. There aren't really protagonist robots in Macross in the same way as in Gundam. In a way that's why Macross is better than most Gundam series, though the best of Gundam is better than Macross. And the Macross franchise descended into a load of bullcrap about the power of music. I see Macross 7 and expect to hear the word 'rad' a whole lot.

It has an energy barrier and the fact that it's about 100 times larger than the average Gundam.
