whats you thoughts on ONE PIECE

United publications are great from my history with them in the past i've got some decent bargains off em,

the main one i'm happy with was buying both black lagoon barrages in 1 bundle for £18, that was a great xmas present about 2 years ago now.

Was looking on there myself for one piece a couple months back. Ok prices but they could have been cheaper.

I ditched onie piece after about 90 episodes or whatever, it was when they'd just got into the grand line and where going to different towns.

(as for bleach, i've got back into the manga after the aizen rubbish was finished. that arc really ticked me off. dragging its feet so much they where digging holes. )

Anime freak, i noticed in one of your threads you mentioned liking naruto, are you upto date with the manga?

It wasn't purely my fault, i started watching other shows and before i knew it i'd missed about 3 months of it and thought "well, its too far now" so haven't gone back to it.

7500th post.... fair enough :p

Regarding not watching it, it's not hard to catch up. It's easy to watch 5 episodes per day.
 
Huh? You watched it on Cartoon Network or were you in Japanese anime fandom circa 2001? Cos... dude. Revelations are coming to light today.

Yeah on cartoon network AAAGES ago. I did a similar thing to naruto too, i watched the complete first series on jetix, then didn't watch it for ages, but then saw it in HMV and started buying them again.

If one piece was in HMV i can bet on it that i'd have probably picked it up again too.
 
I've never seen the show but have always been interested, so when the first cheapo 26-episode set is released in the summer, it shall be mine. You should be able to get a copy from an Amazon Marketplace seller for around 15 quid.

There's a huge difference between what you saw of One Piece and what you saw of Naruto, fyi. Naruto, although edited, still had a semblance of what it originally was - One Piece lost that completely.

i dont read the manga i try and keep to the animes. to be honest im not a manga fan ........... how ever iv read Neon Genesis Evangelion: Angelic Days and i got to say its an amazing manga.

yeah anime central was a good tv channel i never missed a episode. expect G.I joe the guys that put that on a anime tv channel didnt know G.I joe wasn't a anime but the fans knew and complained about it and the took G.I joe off the channel. cartoon network had a afternoon special toonami for anime shows and we all enjoyed it

I'm a bit intimidated by the length of those series, and also the shounen fighting stuff doesn't really appeal. But One Piece looks a bit more offbeat than the others, and I like the design more, and you can't go wrong with pirates. Yarrrrrrr!

you got that right i like the animation look but never got around of watching it but it looks good
in anime we got ninja, samuri, pirates and goku the superman of anime

that what i mean. one piece has been on for 500 episodes and still going and a lot of manga so yeah i think its worth a look
