whats you thoughts on ONE PIECE

NO spoilers i haven't watched this anime yet so just describe how you view this

well even tho iv seena few episodes of this anime and iv seen a few amv like shiver my timbers 002 and heroes, one piece style and i got to say it looks goofy, silly and annoying..............however iv seen a few scenes when luffy get his game on in this one fight and i got to say it blew my freaking mind remember iv seen only a few not from the beginning of one piece so place dont spoils. anyway just have a look at this name on utube (shiver my timbers 002) it was so cool at 0.15. my thoughts are maybe one piece might be a well worth anime to watch when i get the series.

by the way dose anyone know of any sites i can get big box sets of one piece, i know a few but there missing a few volumes.
by the way i think one piece should be given a second chance
 
They are coming out with 'Collections' in the US.

Basically, for roughly £15, it's 26 episodes. Or 2 of the old 'Voyage' Sets put together..

thats good but what sits im getting most of them from axlemusic. but if one or two of them are missing il need to find a nother site to get them
 
Axelmusic is a fantastic site to get your anime from! Never had a problem yet.(Expect for when they list something that has been deleted!) :p

iv only had a problem of when dragonball z boxset came in it was broken and i took a few pics and told them that the boxset was broke and they replaced it

They're fine, they're a very small company so you get personal service. They've also been around for ages and specialise in anime so if there are any weird issues they'll listen.

I don't buy from them much any more (since I got a credit card really...) but if you don't want to deal with importing yourself or customs charges then they'll treat you right.

ok i heard that one piece is going to be collections for episodes of 26 per boxset, which means if theres 500 episodes of one piece that means that to get them all il have to get 19 collection box excluding the movies. they really should of been like the dragonball z series nearl 30 - 39 episodes per boxsets. that would mean including the movies there would 17 boxset for me to get to 500 episode and movies.
 
I've had decent postal experience from them, but mostly buy stuff from them at the expo. Very nice guys.

Animefreak17, I don't think FUNimation are thinking that far ahead. They stream legally for a reason. One Piece could be going for another 500.
 
Dragonball Z was originally released as DVD singles too. It's already made its money back a hundred times over over the years, which is why they can easily bundle it up into such wallet-friendly chunks :)

If up1 have something in stock and it's not much more expensive than DVD Pacific/etc, I'll buy from them for the convenience, and because I quite like them. Some of their prices on new stuff will put me off, but they're always worth checking imo.

As for One Piece, it is very long and not quite as consistent as it has become popular to suggest. The anime has some terrible filler, like all shows of its type, and the first arc or so isn't great due to the smaller cast at the beginning, like all shows of its type. At its best, though, it is really the pinnacle of modern shounen fighting series.

I know this episode was terrible, and I moan about it frequently; but in its defence I don't think it was that bad, it was more to do with wear it was. It was in the middle of a tonne of filler anyway, and it was just getting tiring. Some of the episodes befre it were just as bad, really.
