Out of the series I own in full that I've listed, what should I watch next and why?

I've kind of been leaving Baccano because it's supposed to have a confusing start. I also sort of want to leave the best until last, if it is indeed as great as others say it is...

I shall say My-Otome as it's the only one i've seen from that list

but i'm sure everyone else will say it's cause of my supposed obsession with moe and maids ect ect

Out of all of that, I've only seen a couple of episodes of Tenjou Tenge and whether you'll like it depends entirely on what you really want. It's definitely a so-bad-its-almost-good title. Anyway, I voted for the show that's on my to-watch list, Toward The Terra. That looks pretty fantastic to me.

Take your ROD, insert into the relevant slot, and enjoy.

ROD The TV starts with domestic slice of life comedy and self-contained episodic fun before moving into epic Serious Business territory half way through. Attractive character designs, great action scenes, and all that.

I love that show.

Grrrrr, what is it with you people!? DO I NEED TO BRIBE YOU TO GET MORE THAN A SENTENCE ABOUT ANIME ON THIS SUPPOSEDLY ANIME FOCUSED WEBSITE!?

You loving it does not tell me why I might love it, Mr. Reviewer. Start typing or I'll sulk more. Seriously.

...I put a poll because polls are, like, fun, and no-one sodding well bothers posting. I hate you all, I really do. If I had a Death Note, most AUKN members would join Geek in it.

I voted Mai-Otome, because it's just too much fun. Presuming that you liked Mai-HiME enough to buy Mai-Otome, you should get an extra kick out of it even though they're very different series in tone.

Banner of the Stars is also a classic, again presuming that you've seen and liked Crest of the Stars there would be nothing stopping me recommending that.

ROD is a great action series, really good animation, pretty intriguing story once it gets going. Also it's by the *awesome* J.C. Staff who Fabby apparently thinks suck, but has now recommended two of their series in short order. :p

Baccano! is truly magnificently realized, very strong characters, very strong atmosphere, another one I wouldn't put you off.

I don't like the TenTen or Air Gear anime, because they suffer so badly compared with the manga. The Air Gear anime in particular was poor imo.

Terra He I haven't seen, or read, but is also on my list of things to check out some day. It was written in a time when women didn't really write sci-fi, so even just from that point of view it has some interest.

Mars Daybreak and Elemental Gelade I thought were both pretty bland, but it's a few years since I saw anything of either of them.

Rozen Maiden: Träumend, none of the new dolls are quite as good as the ones from the first series, but as with the other sequels it's definitely one to watch if you enjoyed the first season. It's much more plot driven, too.

Tenjo Tenge (or Ten-Ten as I nickname it) would be my recomendation if you want some action, however the ending saga is long-winded. Probably too long-winded. The series is beautifully animated with some pretty brutal and nice fanservice scenes.

But if you're up for anything that's not pure action based, I also say Mai-Otome or ROD TV. Mai-Otome is the more fantasy/sci-fi mix where you have girls trying to become stonger protectors and (otherwise disguised as) maids.
ROD TV is more of a detective adventure focusing on a bookworm-into-inspector character. Been a while since I've seen this though...

I voted Banner of the Stars.

If you watched & liked Crest of the Stars you will like this as it is a continuation of the story (it is part of the Sekei Trilogy).

I voted Mars Daybreak. And I'll tell you why for free:

I actually only saw a little bit of this over Xmas. I started watching, got a couple of episodes in... and then suffered the most hideous sickness bug I've had in years. So that killed everything I was doing stone dead. I MUST get back to watching that show.

What I saw of it was a lot of fun! The naval setting, Round Buckler mecha and the superb voice cast really made me warm to it. It was one of those things where I could tell from the first few minutes that I was going to enjoy the whole thing.

Yeah, Mr Reviewer, meaning I've reviewed the discs, meaning the reviews are out there, meaning find them and read them you lazy get!

Not to mention a great opening track.

In 3 words ROD is amazing.
That said, it the basic premise has everything to make you believe it's a used formula. Girls with super powers, fight villains to protect the girl. Most of the comic relief from the series comes from two of the sisters love for books and the third's hate of them.
You also have three basic anime archtypes moe/tsundere girl; strong and quiet girl; talkative and the boss of the group girl. But once the story kicks in, it quickly becomes one of the most amazing action animes I've ever seen. It's plot is gripping, it's execution is great and it gets better and better until the very end of it.

I do recommend watching the OVA first thought, as it makes the experience richer. It is not entirely necessary though, as the series progresses, bits of the OVA that the series refer to are actually explained.

Baccano's a little nuts but you get used to it fast (kinda have to) and personally, while I liked it, I didn't love it. It's a character driven thing, so it's good the characters are all likeable (or hateable if they're bad guys, though there are some loveable psychos too =P)

Oh, be sure to check out the OVAs too, they're actually really good, I think they should've been part of the main series but I guess it's a bit of a sub-plot.

You're a wee bit late; I already went with Otome. Then, I finally finished DtB. And, after that, I watched Witchblade. A good round of anime, all in all - two 8/10's and one 9/10.

...Now, however, I'm watching Noir, and that **** ain't so hot. Even the music kind of sucks. ;____;
