What is monies???

thats been asked loads of times, there is a couple topics on here that can explain it, but basically its an extra feature with the forums, has no meaning really at the moment, just you get them i think from posting and sending/recieving them from others forums members.

I could be wrong but isn't it a kind of kudos-based points system? Where you get x points for a new topic, y points for each reply and z points for each thread view? Unlike the post count it tries to reward users for quality of threads rather than quantity.

Sounds like a nice idea but probably doesn't work out in practice. :)
