Well, this weather station was a whopping $27 from Amazon, so it's cheap and even more effective - I like having the humidity and barometer readings since I'm very sensitive to humidity, and I especially like the daily highs and lows for temp and humidity both inside and out, which reset at midnight every day. It replaces an identical unit I had that died after 2 years, and the reviews seem to indicate they don't last long (cheap Chinese junk), so I also purchased a 4 year extended warranty for an extra $4, so I can replace this one for all but free when it goes.

To the batcave, Robin! Lol, I've got electronics all through my house - I used to collect, buy and sell higher-end vintage stereo equipment from the 70's and early 80's up until about 10 years ago, and still have a good bit of it setup around the house. I even have a Marantz quadraphonic receiver from 1974 - probably older than most of you kids on here, lol - I remember some of the local FM radio stations broadcasting music in 4 channels back then when I was in high school, so it's a somewhat nostalgic piece for me. :)
