Been contrasting the amazing Battlestar Galactica recently to The Hills (and The City). I love my TV drama dark, serialized and interesting but there comes a time when the setting your in just doesn't meet to the expectations needed to fully appreciate BSG so, there in comes The Hills. Bright, I guess serialized (because life is?), and laughably interesting, like, like, like... Spencer Pratt is the most hilarious and dick-like human being in existence also.

Once I'm done with BSG, I think I'm going to check out Farscape or Babylon 5.

@Jayme - Go for Farscape. Never got into B5, but love Farscape and have the complete series on DVD. Don't be put off by the early "Crichton's Annoying Personality" episodes and stick with it. It becomes brilliant... and can at times be very sexy.

Watched the first episode today, and it was okay. Going to keep going, though! It's fans (and the muppets) have grabbed my interest.

I'm also half way through the first season of Arrested Development, which I've been meaning to watch for way too long. Everyone says how complex some of the jokes get, and I think I've just about got a grip on what they mean by that... The whole ensemble give great performances, and the writing is just hilarious! NeverNude!

It'll be awesome if the upcoming movie continuation is über popular because of Michael Cera being popular now, and means three movies get made.
 
I should probably go unpause Tomo shouting "Yukari-chan! Juice!" on my AzuDai DVD soon. It's been almost two hours. The internet has a habit of doing that to me... But that screencap is so great I almost don't want to.

I'm seriously appreciating the video quality of ADV's releases now I've got an HDTV. They seem to upscale a lot better than Manga or Beez's, I hardly notice any edge artifacts.

That 'Don't Text and Drive' infomercial which has been sitting at the top of the viral video charts and is now apparently international news. Don't see what all the fuss is about really, it wasn't that shocking.

WARNING: May be disturbing to people who don't like Queen.

I think it was just the tags of the people who re-edited the video and added Queen. That wasn't the official one, you understand. :lol:
