Was checking out one their albums earlier as a matter of fact. An album out on Warp records and being likened to Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective = Me Very Interested.

Strangely enough I've never heard the original verison of this song. I had it from the secret police concert cd.
 
Lindisfarne - Same Way Down

Yes! Found it! I've had this song in my head recently but didn't know the title or the band. I think one of my parents must have had the album when I was little. I can still remember it word for word, beat for beat, though I seem to remember the bass being a lot deeper - It was probably a worn out cassette tape.

Yes, indeed! Merriweather Post Pavilion is an amazing album.


And Ayase~ Jeeeeeez. Never thought I'd see Lindisfarne being posted up here! One of my favourite LPs i've 'inherited' from my dad, (he's not letting go of them yet, but i've still taken to looking after them for the moment :lol: ), is Dingly Dell by them. All Fall Down, is a quality track, if admittedly slightly different in style to that track you posted, haha. Folk-tastic.
 
Hey Maltos - I had all but forgotten about them, as I say I think it's just recovered memory from my childhood - But now every track off Sleepless Nights has flooded back clear as day. I was aware most of their output was more folksy, I have to say I prefer the style of this particular album. Nights and Sunderland Boys are other great tracks I remember too.

(my spellchecker wants to change "Sunderland" to "Wonderland" :lol:)
