Video Games Sales

This! I'm currently on my 4th that I just bought on Black Friday!
I've still got PS4 ones that work perfectly 🤦‍♂️

Yeah it's really bad, and they only offer 12 month warranty on them.

They should fix these anywhere up to 24 - 36 months imo.

Not saying you should do this, but one could buy a new one from Amazon, wait a bit, and then return the faulty one in it's stead.

I may or may not have done this when mine broke 13 months out from new.

DualSense stick drift can be fixed. It's a delicate 16-step disassembly process to do so though... Can't say I enjoyed the experience, but it is possible.

I consider myself fairly technical but I noped out of the notion of trying to fix broken electronics :D

I treat stuff as well as I can so it doesn't break easily normally, but in this case there is a clear manufacturer issue they won't solve, as it suits Sony to sell more controllers. Nintendo were forced to accept stick drift fixing for longer due to the issues they had, not sure why Sony get a pass on the same.

I've been pretty lucky regarding Dualsense stick drift. My first PS5 (which died after about a year) the controller was fine, the replacement that I've had for about 2 and a half years now, the controller is still fine.

Steam Autumn sale has started. Thinking of buying Sekiro.

Amazing game if you've never played it, but be warned it is very challenging at times. £25 seems about the cheapest they ever take it on Steam.

Some bosses I just died to over and over until I was able to "git gud" as they say! :)

Still my fav Fromsoft game ahead of the likes of Elden Ring to be honest.

I've ordered Romancing Saga 2 from Amazon (PS5 ver) was like £33, seemed like a good price. Tried out the demo on PS5 and thought it was a good sort of by the numbers turn based RPG so the kind of thing I like to delve into once in a while.

They also had SMT V for under £20 which I thought was a steal for that game considering it only came out a few months ago. Guess it didn't sell amazingly well but still enjoyed it personally.
