V Remake!!!

I heard about this quite awhile ago and as a big fan of the original I'm very excited, the new ship designs look much better than the old generic saucers though I'll miss the Visitor's (not so sure of shortening their title to V's) red outfits. The cast looks to be interesting, many from other shows I like (Firefly,The 4400 , Smallville, Lost, etc) and I can't wait for this to start airing next year (I think) :D

Any other V fans out there?
 
You know, i don't think i've ever actually heard of V before now, but it does look interesting i must say. it maybe worth a look into as well, when was it due to air?
 
Never heard of V!? I recommend anyone interested should pick up the complete boxset (Mini Series, Final Battle & TV Series) from Amazon, it's under £20 and well worth it!!!!!

From what I've read it's due to start airing in the US some time in the middle of the 2009-2010 season (Sep '09 - May '10) so I'm guessing October-November and hopefully not that long after, early-mid 2010 here in the UK.

It's a midseason replacement, so airing after Christmas sometime. Around January/Febuary usually. Quite likely the same week Lost returns.

Anyway, I won't be watching it straight away, however I might catch it if it appears on our screens (which would be around now-ish next year, if its likely to get picked up). Elizabeth Mitchell and Alan Tudyk being main draws for me.

Lol, I watched some of that. What a ridiculous thing to re-make, I can't understand who thought it might work in the first place!
