I presume from this that hoping for designs based upon 1980s mecha series would be in vain. Units must, alas, be shifted.

Well, they've got an 80s cyberpunk series in there...
 
My semi-local Uniqlo had completely sold out of the One Piece t-shirts when I popped in today (I had a coupon, bah!). Glad I grabbed the ones I liked in good time.

I have picked up some good retro t-shirts from Uniqlo in the past, Zin5ki. They've done the original Gundam, Urusei Yatsura, Devilman, Cobra, Ashita no Joe, Minna Agechau etc but they don't tend to get so well advertised as these recent Manga UK collaborations.
