Japan’s Fuji TV revealed that its Toriko anime series will be part of an hour-long special which combines One Piece and Dragon Ball Z to celebrate the third year of Toriko’s run. The programme is scheduled to premier on April 7th at 9:00 AM and will be called Dream 9 Toriko & One Piece & Dragon Ball Z Chou Collab Special.
This is the second collaboration between One Piece and Toriko as the two were brought together for a special last year. This time Dragon Ball Z will be added so we get to see Luffy, Goku, and Toriko together. What’s the story? The three are taking part in a race called Tenkaichi Kuoukai, an event where gourmet hunters compete to win a luxury ingredient.They will be joined by their loyal pals!
