Bristol is playing host to a mass cosplayer flash mob on 17th Feb 2013 as part of IBT festival 13 (http://ibt13.co.uk/moon/); an experimental performance festival taking place across the city. Recognising the fantastic work in the world of cosplay photographer Carmine Mauro Daprile ( http://www.carminemauro.it ) has been invited to create a new image for the city in the enterprise zone of Bristol (near temple meads station). Carmine Mauro Daprile regularly works with cosplayers across the world ( http://www.carminemauro.it/portfolio/mattettunin/01.htm ) and is now planning to make something special in Bristol. Following the photograph there will be a cosplayer flash mob from midday in a central Bristol location. The artist is inviting cosplayers from the Southwest and beyond to join him in this celebratory display and disrupt the normal order of sunday city life, the event is open to all. If you are a cosplayer, you are in the area or your would like a trip to a fantastic festival and want to be part of something cosplay in Bristol then get your best cosplay and join in. The new image will be displayed billboard size in a Bristol location later in 2013. Carmine is also holding an open cosplayer contest as part of the event , the winner will be invited to be in the new photograph and will receive £100. All you need to do is upload three photos of your best Cosplay to the Facebook group before Jan 25th 2013 go to #cosplayers south west ( https://www.facebook.com/events/336578909782836/ ) and join in!
