When you ssay 'restored', do you mean by way of having the disc refurbed?I don't know if this'll be any help, but you could always invest in a disc repair machine. I bought one ages ago, and it's saved a few scratched discs that I bought second hand. It's turned out to be an absolutely excellent purchase.
