Concerning the "DragonBall Kai" Animation Background Music

It has currently come to light that among the music recorded for the TV animation title "DragonBall Kai", which is produced by our company, there are several musical compositions which may possibly violate the rights of a third party. As these musical compositions are being used as background music in "DragonBall Kai", we are swiftly taking steps to replace them.

We are also moving forward with a quick investigation of all the facts, and discussing future countermeasures with the concerned parties.

Kenji Yamamoto has been stealing compositions for years but they finally acknowledge it just as Kai is ending? Maybe this has something to do with Kai ending, who knows, hopefully we'll get a Boo arc after all, scored by Kikuchi. Though delayed.

I liked his music for Kai, it fit well with the dub at least, but now it looks like Shunsuke Kikuchi's original score is replacing his on the re-runs, and the last two episodes will probably have the original Z score included.

I'm not sure if they're gonna keep some of his score, it seems like he's being fired.

Toei have Shunsuke Kikuchi (The composer for Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z) replacing him on their staff credits.

It's kinda funny how there's a Terminator Salvation score in the story arc sort of based on Terminator...
