Set in a city of students, in a world where certain people develop psychic powers, our hero however isn't so lucky, his first encounter is wtih a level 5 psychic who loves to blow things up with electricity. our Hero Toma Kamijo does have 1 sort of good thing going for him, his right hand. His right hand has the ability to cancel all psychic abilities the downside is anything it touches breaks or fails as its loaded with nothing but bad luck.
One day he finds a young girl hanging on his balcony railing. She turns out to be a nun from the Church of England, and her mind has been implanted with the Index-Librorum-Prohibitorum - all the magical texts the Church has removed from circulation, but magic isn't real and if it is will his hand be able to negate its effect the same way it does with Pyschics..... Well as you can guess there are mages after the magic the nun has inside her and Toma is the only one standing between them and the girl.
A great story a hero without power... except his immunity and of course his bad luck against Psychic's who hate the fact he can't be intimidated by them and mages who want him dead so they can get there hands on the girl, some brilliantly funny moments especially when you meet his lil teacher a woman old enough to drink but with a little girls body and the school bully a girl intent on kicking his ass for beating her Psychic attacks.
