Three clips of MVM's latest sci-fi opus - Ergo Proxy

MVM will begin releasing the highly anticipated sci-fi opus Ergo Proxy on UK DVD on the 6th of August and to build a little bit of pre-release antcipation, they have published 3 short clips taken from the first volume that will no doubt encourage the affection of many science fiction addicts.

Yet, MVM can't even bring us an artbox to start it off. I know I could say the same with all series, but MVM are making an extra special effort with this series it seems. They've done artboxes before, and that £20 price point is just too high now when we see Revalation's £15. I guess they will wait for 1-2 years and release a boxset for it of some kind. Oh well, what a let down from MVM really, the R1 release is brilliant : )!
 
The series looks classy and a fantastic atmosphere is created but that's as far as my praise goes.

Cant wait to get it.
Although I hear its very hard to empathize with the charachters and it has a vey mish mash plot but heck, I need my cyberpunk.
 
Think i might have to take a look at this if it's done by the same people who did Samurai Champloo and Ghost in the Shell: SAC. Visuals look pretty stunning. :)
 
I enjoyed this series, but it is very 'alternative' and by that I mean weird, not so much tricky to follow as sometimes downright impossible because it goes off on such a tangent at times. That said it is very original and has a wonderful atmosphere
